My parents used to go here all the time so we still bring my mom back even though my dad passed. It's changed hands a lot over the years and overall is always had a pretty good consistent staff and good taste with the food. I would have given five stars but this last time we were given plastic utensils and the food was a little bland which was a bit of a bummer.
Once we went and there were roaches. Another time hair in our food. And this past Saturday I went and ordered the big dipper melt and all the meat was just the fat from the roast. Then they never have the actual sauce that's supposed to come with it, so I have to settle for broken gravy. So another try..... No thanks. I've already given y'all way over 3 tries and every one of them is worst then the previous one. I'll drive way down hwy 6 to MoCity before I frequent this location again.
Usually service at Denny's is reasonable good. I have visited this particular location and in many of those occasions I have received a an acceptable service. Today was an exception. Not a good service at all. The importance of corporate training. They need to pay attention or they will lose patrons.
Seriously, reviewers who give this Denny's a less than favorable review don't go to this restaurant mid week in the evening. I go here about once or twice a month to grab dinner after work and I am never disappointed. The evening cook Michael is really talented. He makes one of the best sirloin steak dinners I've had. The price is reasonable, seating is comfortable, they play cool retro music, and always have a nice TV show on the big screen TV. Love this restaurant.
We were there for an hour patiently waiting for our order. They were well staffed including three individuals in the kitchen. Our order was finally delivered with missing sides as well as incorrectly cooked. They deserve a 0.
Not good today's experience here. Probably they were short of staff but our order and in general all the service was really late, very slow. After 30 minutes waiting we were about to leave and when we told the waitress, suddenly food came. This happened a Saturday around noon, was crowded but not all the tables were occupied. Have had better experience in other Dennys.
Food was awesome. Our waitress was so sweet and attentive. didnt get her name, but made sure to leave a tip.
Place was mediocre at best. We experience issues at checkout and no one there knew how to solve the issue even after getting the manager. Need better trained staff and management that knows how to effectively and efficiently check customers out after dining and solve simple task without creating additional problems. We never experience these issues at most other Denny's locations.
It was a pleasant experience. The establishment is always clean. I just wish the manager and the bus lady would keep in mind that when handling food the mask needs to cover your nose as well as your mouth.
The food was good but the service really need improvement, the waitress stop by our table after like 20 minutes of us getting there, I asked for coffee and she never returned, like 10 minutes later a different waitress showed up, took our order, offered more coffee, we said yes, and she never came back... I've been to that restaurant before for lunch and the service was good, apparently the problem is with the night crew. Never coming back there during the evening.
