We are the Korean food lovers and we just experienced the worst Korean BBQ ever, the miso soup looked soy sauce color and the meat was cooked/overcooked from the kitchen without asking. The portion of each menu as small as a hand on top of onion and the prices were $27-$36 each the meat looked alike left over and more like stir-fry from sliced beef which the called it Breaker's STEAK. Really?! We should have gone to other which would cost $15 each menu and test better.
The food was delicious. The marinades were flavorful without being overbearing. The fried dumplings were fantastic. My one complaint is that the spicy items weren’t exactly spicy. Flavor packed, yes. But not much heat. And, for a family of 4 who eats A LOT, the front of house was very patient in explaining the menu. Abdul, specifically, made us feel welcome and alleviated some of our tension after a fairly stressful, multi-state trip. Getting a table of cranky, hangry, tired people to laugh after being stuck in a car for more than 13 hours should be considered a super power.
Service is not bad, food blew the average. Not fresh. it’s definitely not a “Korean” BBQ. So disappointed. I lived in Seoul for a year before Covid, I would recommend try other real Korean restaurants in the town.
I didn't even eat here. We were looking for food and called to make sure when last call for the buffet was. They are adjusting to 1:00 AM and absolute last call around 1:10 AM. All good! We're just happy about how cordial and honest he was. But that wasn't enough, oh no. He CALLS US BACK to tell us how we can be better accommodated! We were blown away by this gesture and level of customer service, now we HAVE to eat here when we get a chance!
My family and I hate here for lunch today. The staff was recommending with our 3 month old. The food was great. We choose the part b for all you can eat. The Breaker steak and spicy shrimp was great! My boys really liked chicken dumplings. Would recommend and will definitely come again. Everyone was so nice!
Two days ago, I was in the area due to work, and I decided to stop by this restaurant. Unfortunately, I couldn’t dine-in that day so I decided to place a takeout order. While waiting for my food, I had a nice conversation with the host behind the counter. He was a great listener and made me feel an abundance of comfort while there. I don’t think I ever saw a smile leave his face! He explained to me that he was a new hire and still getting familiar with things, which is why another nice worker assisted him in placing my order and paying. When my food was ready, the host apologized to me for the wait time. I had such a great conversation with him that I had no idea 15 minutes passed by! What a grand time. Excellent customer service; I’m anticipating the day that I get to stop by and enjoy the full dine-in experience!
It was my first visit to Breakers Korean Grill. The food was delicious. The meat and chicken was well seasoned. The glass noodles were perfectly done. Customer service was a 10. Edwin the manager was very polite and friendly and made sure we were comfortable, he came over a few times to check on us. Edith our server was awesomeShe answered every question my inquisitive asked. The Drinks are great here. This was an awesome experience. I will definitely return.
The meat was well seasoned and tender! Love barbecuing my own meat at the table! The sides were delicious too! They had trouble starting the grill at our first table and we all had to move and it took a while for them to bring out the first round of meat. Otherwise, an awesome place to eat!!
There are many outlets of Breakers and we’ve eaten at quite a few so decided to have an early dinner while visiting town. This location appears to be staffed by quite young and mostly inexperienced people however our server did possess a good bit of knowledge of the foods. By and large, Korean barbecue is not cheap and assuming you’re there for the all you can eat (AYCE) the minimum charge will be $26/person. For that you get no beef cuts of meat. For $36/person you’ll have an assortment which will include beef but not short ribs. For that you need to go to the most expensive option at $46/person. The food was good and meats were fresh just wasn’t impressed by the atmosphere and overall service level
Breakers was so sweet and accommodating for our large party celebrating a birthday dinner. Alia our lovely server and Edwin the manager were so kind, attentive, prompt and helpful. Highly recommend this place for yummy Korean bbq and great service
