Been here a couple times and here are some changes.No more chip bar, salsa, green sauce.They will bring it out but only with salsa which they have been doing for awhile (I miss the green sauce). So no pickled carrots and onions either.The daily specials are still there but are adjusted for the new price increase.Tuesday fish tacos are $3 now.Mens bathroom is completely renovated and much nicer. Doesn’t feel like a dive bar bathroom anymore.Food quality is still good. Fish tacos still great.Not sure about the kids eat free weekends anymore as we used to go after church.
Came in today, 3/8/22 at 1240 pm. Got the Lunch fajita plate with beef. Beef appeared to be regular beef but when I sliced it, I quickly noticed beef had a mashed beans consistency. No way that was beef. It was like a mashed powder beef. Brought it to staff and then to manager, they said they don't know why, but that's their beef fajita. No offers for refund or investigate why it was like that. Will never come back for sure.
Been coming here for years and the food never disappoints! The freshest products always! Atmosphere is hip and family friendly. At night it is more of a bar atmosphere if you ask me. Patio seating, indoor seating, party room, catering, bar seating and even a game room with pool tables!! Eating after a long day and I love this place! Other berryhill restaurants are not done the same way! You can tell the owner really cares about quality I got the seafood enchiladas and they are amazing every time!!!
The food and the customer service is fantastic! They have daily specials. I highly recommend recommend the $2 beef enchiladas with cream sauce. They are the bomb!
Why would you show this place as being open until midnight, if food supposedly stops being served at 10 (or something like that, nothing was explained to me when I went to the counter). Intentionally waited until 10, did not provide service to my parents who sat down at a booth before I arrived, and then notified me of “no food service” when I went to ask.
Tacos. Tamales. Heaven.Unfortunately I did not take pictures. I ordered the grilled fish tacos and three types of tamale with the mole sauce…delish!I would love to set up a Mukbang Gone Wild Houston City Beat style here…perhaps in the future.

Best fish tacos in the world!!! Plus the service, the staff and the entire vibe was phenomenal! Hannah made this an even more enjoyable visit with her pleasant personality and her consistent attention to details. Truly grateful for this experience! Love this place! I'll be back again and again! Terrible! Terrible service and terrible food!! I came here years ago and the food use to be good and the service was decent. The food is clearly frozen and heated up. No seasoning. The bartender gave awful service. I can’t believe this place made it through the pandemic. Shocking!
