I'm not going to bury the lead: let's normalize putting a hotdog on your burger..I ordered Chunk's Burger, which featured: a beef patty, bacon, ham, the aforementioned hot dog (beef), cheese, lettuce, tomato, mayo, and mustard. It is not just a chunk, it is a chonk. It is also delicious, truly one of the better burgers I've had. Mine had a really nice eggy bun that held this beast together. Outstanding..My wife had Nelly's Burger, which was a beef patty stuffed with mozzarella, feta, garlic, grilled onions, grilled jalapenos, mayo, and mustard. My wife elected to have her peppers on the side when she learned they were actually serrano peppers. She thought it too was great..The peppers on the side were genius because you could place them on your bite and not be surprised by them. Also, she could share them with me ;-).I don't want to neglect my praise for the fries, which are exactly the kind I like. Real potatoes, 3/8" or so, fried until crunchy but still soft inside. They battled for taste supremacy with the burger, they were so good..Overall, excellent experience. This unpretentious place is a gem.
The Nelly burger was very good, and the seasoned fries tasted great as well. Would highly recommend this place!Just wish they had fountain drinks with refills, only cans as of now.
Friendly, welcoming spot. Food was really good & good portions! I had the Old Tymer on lettuce and fries, really tasty! I highly recommend. I’m definitely going to keep coming!

First time trying this place out, and as a vegan I can say the veggie burger is good. It seemed the veggie patty wasn’t homemade but it was pretty good with all the veggies and bun. I just wish they made a non diary sauce option instead of their house made aioli yogurt sauce. Their house fries were decent, too. It wasn’t salted nor seasoned but had a good taste. I’d try this place again.
Chunks takes the simple approach of do a few things and do them well. They make fantastic burgers that are perfectly grilled and then decorated with great buns and toppings. The burgers come off the griddle with a perfect crisp and still juicy, the toppings are fresh and the fries are outstanding. You can tell the family takes pride in their cooking and treats the customers like friends.
The meat isn’t Frozen the fries tasted freshly cut but I could be wrong. The Burger is probably the best I had since moving to Houston from Los Angeles area a lot of places here lack flavor but not here it’s spot on. Come eat here you won’t regret it. Good Job Chunks. Oh and the Bread super good.
I've Read any good reviews about this place! I was excited to try it out. In this place did not disappoint. The burgers were phenomenal, The french fries tasted and looks like they were made there. The seasoning was spot on. The only thing I don't like is that they don't have combos and you have to buy a canned soda. Will definitely be back time and time again. I just wish there was more seating and better parking.
Their Bam Burger has a delicious taste with their one of a kind bread! It is so good, the meat was right on medium like I like it cooked, no tomatoes because I’m allergic but the onions are so fresh and juicy!! You can tell the difference with quality ingredients they use, highly recommend!! Oh and also their hand cut fries are great! Will be back most likely this week! Thank you guys, great service as well.
Best burger I've had in a while! They really payed attention to my order and it came out perfect as did the other people in my groups orders. The place was clean and the staff was friendly. I will be going back here for my burger cravings in the future!
