I've lived in this area for 15 years and never been to the restaurant until today.. No wait, immediately was seated and greeted by our server Todd..The menu offered a variety of options that made our selections difficult as all options appeared to be good! Our food came out under 10 minutes, hott and was very delicious. Pricing was very reasonable for the portion. size. Todd did an amazing job & look forward to returning
Excellent food & service. Jessica at the bar was very personable & made our meal more enjoyable. The eggs Benedict called classic Arnold we rate a 5 put of 5 stars. Brisket scramble a 4 out of 5 stars. The pork chop breakfast 5 of 5 stars. Bloody Mary cost ,$9.50 so I thought it was a bit on the expensive side, & a bit on small side. I recommend this place for breakfast or brunch.
This establishment is so family oriented and the food is very very good with much to choose from. Compliments to the cooks!The hostesses were very courteous and our waitress Clahudia was more than awesome. She definately made sure my girls and I had everything that we needed. Of all things, service like that is why I would recommend The Toasted Yolk at 2211 Rayford to everyone!Great Job to you all!!
We weee headed to Houston for the weekend and stopped in Spring for a late breakfast. The restaurant was half empty and we waited quite a while at the front. I finally approached someone at the bar and was told that they were very short-staffed missing busboys, dishwashers and kitchen staff. Shortly thereafter we did get seated. Our waitress was very pleasant and took our order right away. Sadly everything from the coffee, eggs over easy to eggs Benedict were cold. As we were in a time crunch we decided to just go ahead and eat our food but I’d not recommend this restaurant to anyone
Really, really great brunch and lunch spot. Staff was very friendly af attentive. Inside and outside areas, full bar, coffee, and great selection of food.Great prices. Really loved this place.
It was just me and the menu was jibirush to me. The hot lady understood the assignment. Low carb, high protein! Hooked me up!
Always great food and catering services. I ordered for our staff Biscuits, Gravy, & Hash Browns, to please use half the amount of sodium, and was PERFECT! Thank you James! Will continue to use our local TOASTED YOLK !
I’m honestly so disappointed. This is my 2nd time here, I thought the food taking long to come out the first time my kids and I visited was because it was Mother’s Day, but no. I’m here on a random Thursday,by myself. Walk in at 10:40 and just leaving at 12:07.. I could understand if the restaurant was busy, but they were not, not even a wait. My food took so long to come out and looked so bland and just thrown on my plate. My eggs were cold and my pancake was so cold, the butter didn’t even melt on it. 50 minutes for my food to come out, while other tables who were sat way after me, food came before mine. I will be letting people know to NOT visit this location. Highly Disappointed
We come here regularly and we always get outstanding service. Sandra and Laura always take great care of us. Sandra is very good at recommending different menu items, and they are always excellent. We highly recommend!
We are "frequent flyers" at this place, and have always had a great experience both with service and quality/ taste of food. Unfortunately, today was not one of those days. We arrived at 10:05am on a Sunday (party of 9) and asked what the waiting time would be. Was told about 30-35 minutes, and agreed to wait. At 10:50am asked how much longer and was told we were the next party on the list, but it seemed like it would be another 10-15 minutes because the party sitting at the table that would be assigned to us was not done yet.10 minutes after that one of the members of our party went to the restroom and when walking back saw them just then being served! That would definitely be more than the "5 more minutes" we were advised would wait. I was beyond irritated at that point and we left. Quite disappointing that the restaurant can't manage their seating adequately and we ended up wasting that time plus then some more having to find somewhere else to go.I ended up getting the text message that our table was ready at 11:19am.
