Tried to call in am order and when it would connect it was sent. When I finally did get Get through and spoke to the girl working on Monday night June the 27th she basically said she was tired to running to the phone and stopping what she had to do because do because she kept saying hello and there was no one there on the other end so very rude I wanted to place an order but politely told her no I don't think so wow you would think they'd want the business totally not the nails I've looked and enjoyed for years
First time here = it was soooo good. The chicken fried steak was the best I have had in a very long time and the catfish and shrimp was also extremely tasty. Had no room for dessert, but would have loved to try the cobbler. Will definitely go back and highly recommend. It was also very reasonably priced. Absolutely nothing to complain about.
We're from out of town and revisited Neals again. The chicken fried steak, fried pork steak and side dishes were on point and truly outstanding. The blackberry and pecan pies are excellent as well. Susan made us feel like a VIP guest in her home and truly guided us through the menu options. We can't wait to come back. Wish I could give 6 stars.
My biggest pet peeve with a restaurant is when it takes over ten minutes for anyone to take your drink order. Food was alright. A little salty on the hamburger and I love salt but this was more than I care for. Good potato salad. Ambience was comfortable. Service was ok. My take away is while I wouldn't suggest going there myself, I would be okay if someone else in my group wanted to go there.
Had not been there before today an I am not going back. The veggies are good if you must gum your food. Mashed potatoes tasted like they were from a box, after complaining about the food we were offered with more of the same sides. The burger looked ok. My grilled pork chop was average but not what I expected. The cinnamon apples were straight from a can. Not what we expected from “the original” restaurant.
Glad we went to this place. The food was delicious and very affordable, and the all around staff was super awesome. I loved it! See you again soon!
A great time was had the staff had our meals on the table within 10 minutes. Fresh,quality food. Try the Buffalo burger. Or the chicken fried steak both are can't miss meals. The staff is so polite and friendly.
After the waiter brought our order, he asked if we wanted some biscuits and rolls. We said yes. He never came back until he brought us the check. I had the chicken fried chicken, fries and green beans. I get chicken fried chicken all the time at other restaurants, and normally, it is pounded to tenderize it. This chicken was not. The fries were ice cold, and the one I tasted let me know that these were cooked in waaaay old cooking oil. The veggies were good. We won't be back.
Neal’s is really hit or miss. You never know what you’re gonna get. When it’s good. It’s really good. When it’s not. It’s not. That said, had an amazing bacon cheeseburger the other day that was one of the best burgers ever.
