My husband and I were coming back from a little league baseball game and saw the Butler House restaurant. We had never been there so we decided to check it out. The building was nice and there was live music. We sat at the bar because the restaurant was full. I ordered butternut squash soup, Caesar salad and asparagus & mushroom risotto, fillet beef, and drinks. Good service and and good food.

Nice place near The Woodlands. Bar and food menu adequate but a bit pricey, costs going up all over. We had a dinner party of eight and service was very good with the exception of my meal gone missing and then being brought out a grilled chicken breast instead of chicken marsala. I waited extra so did not feel like sending back. Management might want to check servings before tabling. Wait staff is very good. Slow that night so not sure why issues.

We were excited about dining here as the reviews looked good. Our server was nice but he was really slow. We watched multiple tables come and go around us. We were told they were out of spinach dip then watched another table order it after us because actually they were out of pita bread and they got the option to have it with chips instead. The pretzel that we opted for was hard as a rock hence why we sent it back. The food came out in pieces….one person’s then 5 minutes later the next. The appetizers came out with the food. The short rib didn’t live up to its award and honestly the French fries were the best thing we ate. The grits were like water and we were celebrating a birthday, asked about dessert and never got to see that either. The entire experience was a hard NO! And the ac must have been broken because it was HOT! The manager was thoughtful though, he removed the hard pretzel that we sent back and gave me brunch prices on the mimosas that we ordered at brunch but took the slow server over half an hour to put in. Kudos!

Our server Mo had excellent recommendations, the salmon was buttery, flaky perfection and the veggies were the right amount of tender. Chocolate martini was strong but drinkable.

I had the family in town for an impromptu rehearsal dinner. With no notice , Butler house made room for us. The food was fantastic we love our waitress cute blonde girl from Indiana. She has been our waitress every time we’ve gone …we were also there at Super Bowl . What’s better than sitting outside and watching the Super Bowl on a huge screen? service and food was fantastic then also . I would highly recommend , especially the patio .Great atmosphere out there.

Way overpriced! 5 star prices for a 2 star restaurant. Crab cakes had no crab. Wedge salad was just lettuce with a few tomatoes. Ordered chips and queso because we were still hungry and the queso was worse than what you would get at a high school ball game. My wife got there before me and was the only guest in the restaurant. The hostess sat a table of 5 right behind her so we ended up having to move so we wouldn't be part of their conversation. We were also overcharged and had to point it out to the waiter on the bill. Our bill for two with two appetizers, two salads, with 5 glasses of wine was $150.00. This was during happy hour. So dissatisfied!.

I visited twice with a friend. We're checking out venues for an event she's hosting. This place is great. It has outdoor patio seating, a game area, private party rooms, a balcony area, and a couple of bars. We had a tasting. The food is MAGNIFICENT!! We had steak, salmon, vegetables, flourless chocolate cake and cheesecake. The manager is a really great person and was extremely helpful in planning my friend's event. I highly recommend this place!!

Great ambience, drinks and food. Super friendly staff.
