3 stars for cleanliness and service— 1 star for food. We ate shrimp biryani, paneer curry, samosa chat, and veg pakora. Biryani tastes no where close to biriyani—it looked like fired rice and taste even bad, rice was uncooked. Paneer curry and samosa chat were okay. Veg pakora was over fired. Naan was delicious. Kitchen and dinning area were clean. The interior looked vibrant. Restroom was clean. Parking lot was small but still had plenty room for parking. Overall nice place to go.
A contemporary quick service Indian food joint with lots of familiar Indian food options. This place is ideal for those who are not familiar with Indian food but want to try. But it is in no way authentic Indian food. The portions are small and priced high. Almost all dish comes with rice.Chicken tikka masala , one of the best options on the Indian menu, was so tangy and couldn’t enjoy the authentic flavor. The place reminded me Pei Wei or Chipotle. This Place was maintained nicely and had a cool vibe. Most of the staff were friendly. For me personally, the flavor of the food didn’t impress me at all. It was very bland food.Overall, it was ok, but if you are looking for authentic Indian food, this is not the place.
My favorite new Indian restaurant. I had the chicken kabobs with spicy ranch. Delicious ? the chicken was season well, the vegetables were still crispy and the rice was a welcomed addition. I look forward to dining here again. The staff helpful in explaining the sauces and what the entrees included.
I’ve never had a bad experience here minus the one day I only had cash. I had to track down a stranger to pick up my tab in exchange for my cash. I had exact change by the way. The food and drinks are consistently the same quality. No matter what time of day I’ve gone it’s always been clean!!!I’ve tried half the menu here and it’s not bad for the type of restaurant that it is. I like the spicy tikka masala (chicken) and chicken biryani.Go ahead and get the mango lemonade…you know you want to (:
Great ? Fast Food Type Indian food. Order at the front counter & Boom delivered to your table. Endless sodas & drinks at the self serve barOutstanding service and customer careGreat selection & the Nann is right up there with the bestSpiced to your chille tasteGood go to Indian
Some of the Best Indian dishes & Great pricing Order at the front counter & Boom they bring it to the table Very large servings & they will spice to your delight All good & excellent customer service Do not miss out on a great meal.
Exactly what I hoped it would be. A nice, casual counter-service meal that packs a good punch for the price. The lamb skewers were the star. The samosa chaat was super fresh and bright. For a place that is in the Chipotle space as far as style and price, you can't ask for much more!
I've been here before sometime in 2021 and reallyenjoyed the food. I would always get the vindaloo butthe vindaloo I had this time was not the best. Eventhough it was hot temperature wise it wasn't hot, in aspicy way like I wanted. The flavor was super bland tooThe gnan bread is the reason for 2 stars
Tarka is our new favorite for a quick Indian food fix. After our favorite local place shut down, we feared we'd never have good, affordable Indian food nearby again! Tarka is consistently good and much more affordable than other Indian restaurants in our area. The menu is just varied enough that we've been able to introduce our kids to different dishes, and we like that we can request extra veggies. Plus we got the Tarka mobile app, and now we get coupons every once in while! The people at the Spring Woods location are consistently awesome, although parking there is a challenge. We usually order for curbside pickup.
We ordered a party platter and I must say, I was pretty amazed at the quality of the food and how well it was packed. As an Indian, the food was pretty good! The only downside is that they’re not flexible with their party platters. It’s either small (10 pieces for example) or large (50) and no in between. If you need 20 pieces, you gotta order the extra off the menu. I think they need to be flexible in this regard. Positive experience overall
