Was looking for a place to eat on our way to see family. Menu said they had lunch specials. We asked if they had special on Sunday and they do. I had cashew chicken and hubby had Mongolian beef. It comes with choice of rice and soup along with an egg roll. Great portions, nice staff, clean place. All around food was delicious and not expensive.
I was in the area for work and was craving Chinese. Upon entering, the place was clean and well tended to. However, it had a very strange smell that I wouldn’t expect to be in a restaurant. Almost, chemical smelling and there was no smell of actual food. I proceeded any way. The hot and sour soup was good but the chicken and rice I had tasted like they were straight from the Chinese place in a mall. Didn’t taste fresh or authentic at all. But for the price, you can’t really complain. The servers also didn’t appear happy and no one smiled at me. Just could have been better.
The worse chinese food ive ever had, these people giving five stars do not know real authentic chinese food. My shrimp tasted like it was cooked in dirty water & the egg drop soup is watered down. Neverrrrrr againnnnn. The food doesnt taste fresh AT ALL, money wasted & i hope i dont get sick from this food as it was absolutely disgusting
Pepper steak is delicious. Only thing is..why can’t I replace the rice with lo mein? I mean I’m willing to pay a little extra for lo mein. I don’t understand why I can’t have lo mein as my side instead of the rice. It’s disgraceful and I think you people should be ashamed of yourselves.
Used to be a great place, best in town.Think they hired a new cook or new management as I got my food 2 minutes after I ordered it, but it's not heated all the way up.One bite is hot, next is cold. They remade it for me in 2 minutes and same thing again! Paid for it anyway and got lunch elsewhere but won't be returning. Tea was good though! This place used to take 10 minutes to make your food but it was the best in town. Now it's 2 minutes but Panda Express serves hotter food.
Just what you realy want in flavor and spices in Chinese food. Best lunch menu that's healthier and equal or better priced then any fast food resturants!!!
The dining area Was filthy. I ordered the house wonton large soup. Looking at theLooking at the menu I decided that the soup would probably come close to filling me up so I told the server to bring me a kids chicken lo-mein. He replied that he couldn't do that because I wasn't akid. I told him as long as I pay for my food they should serve me whatever is on the menu. CRAZY PEOPLE. LIKE I SAID THE place was filthy
I have tried this place 3x and 2 out of the 3 they have keep my change and when you mention it they look at you as if you are in the wrong for mentioning that they kept your money. The food is mediocre and has a weird smell and taste. I use to frequent the TJins in Katy and their food was amazing. This TJins is far from amazing. Go elsewhere.
Been searching for a Chinese food place since I moved to Tomball from SW Houston and am pleased with T Jin. I'm a creature of habit so so far I've only had the General Tso chicken and Beef Broccoli. Both choices are excellent. The beef is really tender and the sauce has the perfect touch of sauce. I like smaller chicken pieces for General Tso, but I can't really complain "chicken pieces are too big. Yes, they are delicious, but too big!" I'd definitely recommend T.Jin's!
