A little disappointed today as we were really looking forward to coming to this location. Our location was the 1960 location which is now closed. My mom has been craving the spud or all the way brisket potato for awhile. It's so filling too! When we came in, the gentleman at the cutting board asked my mom what she wanted and totally overlooked me. I had to ask the second gentleman who fixed my mom's plate to double the order. He was supposed to get the plate from the first guy like an assembly line. He did a great job and made up for the first person. We paid, sat down, and everything went smoother from there. The cashier was sweet and bread lady making her rounds was on point. I still miss the 1960 location and may end up making 249 our new location. The food is always great! I do also appreciate the Support for Ukraine sign.

Atascocita, Texas location. Set a pick up order on Fourth of July to be ready at 11. Used their online ordering system, which confirmed order would be ready to be picked up at 11:00. Even set it for curbside. At 11:00…they wouldn’t answer the phone. They opened their doors at 11:02. Went in to get the order (instead of waiting for them to answer the phone). Order was not ready. Instead, they said there were 5 other orders they had to cook ahead of mine. Basic issue: if you aren’t going to have orders ready at 11 (that your system confirmed)…then don’t offer to have orders ready at that time. I’m STILL sitting here waiting for them to cook my order while my family waits at home waiting for me to deliver the BBQ 4th of July lunch from Spring Creek BBQ Atascocita.

I used to love this place so much but a lot has changed. The food isn't as good as it used to be and the staff are typically nice but there are a few people who seem like they don't want to be there. The food is overall nothing special. You can find better BBQ elsewhere.

Brisket Was Not Fresh. If Fresh Brisket Can Not be Served then Don't Sell Me food at All.

I do not write reviews often; however, this one is well deserved. Food was ok, not bad at all. Nonetheless, the staff working there completely lack customer service skills, including the manager. Adding to that, my children had to wait over 20 minutes for an order of fries. Is difficult to put into words how rude someone could be. Let’s put it like this, it was almost like eating lunch in one of the food areas in six flags. On top of that it was Mother’s Day, which was supposed to be a special occasion.

Used to be our favorite BBQ place but it has been going down. Went today with my family, the meat was good but other things not very good. Everybody returned the cole slaw; mccheese very small portion for $3. They stopped giving free refills on sides (Bad when you go with children), Changed the two sides for main plates when you order a Baked potato. Prices up and less product equate to less perceived value. Guess it is time to look for a new BBQ place. Staff was Nice!!

This place has some great food. The rolls are fresh baked in house. Staff is very nice!

Location is fine with plenty of free parking. The place is dated, and the brisket was just ok. Service is okay as well. Ok if your in the area.

I'm torn on this review, so I'm going in the middle with 3 stars. Some great, some bad.The great: Who doesn't love fresh, hot-out-of-the-oven baked rolls? Probably one of the best reasons to visit Spring Creek BBQ. The turkey was delicious and moist, too. Not a lot of smokey flavor, but it was tasty. The mac and cheese seemedThe bad: Unfortunately, the rest of the BBQ. The ribs were awful! Super dry and hard to eat! They were a big disappointment and a waste of money! The brisket was only "okay" to me. We usually get much better brisket at most other BBQ restaurants we go to, even other big red/yellow chains. The sides (besides the mac & cheese) were... meh. Another big let-down is that they don't let you go back for "refills" on your sides (like they used to do before Covid-19 happened). I don't get this. It isn't like customers are handing them a dirty, used dish, and they are "refilling" a used dish. They would always use a clean dish. What is the difference then and now? I think it is just a lousy excuse to save some money and pinch pennies. It is really too bad. We used to really like this place, but it has become a poor experience. To top it off, our meal (2 adults and 3 kids - ages 9, 11, & 13) cost $88.60 + tip!!! That is WAY too much for mediocre food! This is with everyone drinking water, too (except for 1 soda). Just nuts. I guess we won't be returning. :-(

This place is going downhill. We had dinner at 5:30 on Sunday, no chicken, it will take 30 minutes to be ready, so we went for the brisket, it was dry, the worst ever!! The bread took too long, the meat was cold by the time the bread was ready, little bbq portions. Save you money and time!!! Do go there.
