There are few guarantees in this world. One, however, is the downright rudeness of the entire staff behind the counter at this Shipley’s. It’s almost comical and it’s at the point where my children beg me to not come here because of the treatment they and I both receive. I can’t imagine working in a place where you hate your job and/or your customers so much to where you seethe with anger but here we are. And it’s just a drive thru donut shop. I don’t expect overt niceness … just common courtesy. In addition, $1.35 for a plain donut that does NOT look fresh… no thank you. I like Shipley’s. Just not this one. And I’ll drive out of my way to not come here.
The donuts here are consistently good and fresh in my experience over the last 10 years, but we like Kolaches a great deal, and the Kolaches are consistently sub par. Specifically the cheese is usually leaked out and the inside dry. I have been to many other Shipley's and find that this is a problem about 50% of the time. The only consistent one is on N.Main and 45 South.
Great and friendly location. They just need more than one person working up front because it can take 20-25 minutes to finally place your order.
Does not have croissants but they are friendly and quick.

I'm giving a one star because you can't give ZERO stars. I spent over $21 only to find when I opened the boxes day old sticky on the outside and dried out in the inside. Even the plain glazed donuts were extremely old. So we drove to the Shipley's on hwy 249 near Willowbrook and they were fresh, warm and melted in your mouth. Shipley's at Stubner Airline will cheat you every chance they can. Even their milk was warm.
Normally Shirley's has been my spot in the morning since moving to Texas. But since moving to the area this Shirley's had made me change my routine. Not only do they only have 2 peoples working which almost always means a 15+ minute wait in the drive thru (I'd go in if it was open) but if you say anything about taking longer than the usual 15 minutes they blame the owner and get rude, loud and confrontational.

This is the 2nd time I have gotten a rotten milk service is not that great
