Maps and signage on this restaurant is wrong apparently. Showed up 30 minutes after opening hoping to eat inside. Was informed by the non-english speaking staff I had to order at the drive thru despite having walked to the location - very unsafe.After asking why the lobby to an apparently open restaurant was closed, they couldn't me an answer spoken in english or spanish. Zero customer service, zero stars.Imagine telling walk-up customers to stand between cars at a drive thru. Get real.
Customer service is bad here. Sucks because I love their donuts but not worth being treated badly. Very rude employees.
On Christmas Eve day, I went and bought donuts for my kids and I. I bought a dozen glazed donuts and kolaches . Theglazed donuts were a darker brown than they normally are which was fine, but when my kids and I've bit into him they were completely Raw on the inside the dough was not even cooked. I didn't have time to go back there and ask for my money back because I was busy with my autistic son and his older brother. I will never go back to that location after years of going there, I will never go back. I refuse to spend my hard-earned money with companies who dont care about the quality of thier product.
As usual, get home and half my order is missing...only come here cause it is closest. Horrible Horrible service. Little or no English speaking employees, which is biggest part of problem. Wouldn't recommend this location to my worse enemy
WORST EMPLOYEES EVER… donuts are good, but will be looking for a new donut shop to go to because we always feel rushed. Lady at the counter being so rude and rushing us, there was only one other person in the store. She kept cutting us off as we ordered and visibly annoyed that we wanted more donuts. My kids told me they don’t want to come here anymore.
I had such a fun time talking to the owner! She helped me out and I will definitely be coming back here again. So kind!
I ordered a birthday cake through Small Cakes. The lady that makes the birthday cakes name is Mrs. Qudsia. This cake...this cake...sorry I'm having flashbacks. This was an amazing cake. I ordered a carrot cake for my wife's birthday. It's her favorite and Mrs. Q came through for a brotha. The presentation was perfecto. Creme cheese icing, cake consistency on point ? nothing bad I can say about her cake. I highly recommend her for birthday/wedding cakes.
I have always loved Shipley's recipe for donuts. It's definitely the go-to donut shop. However, the customer service has consistently been highly disappointing at this particular donut shop. In the last year, I have gotten THE worst service at this place. Example, there was a line at the window, so I opted to go in. I was the only person inside. There was a worker sweeping the floor and I could see the pile she was making including a nice large moth in the center of the pile. So I'm moved as far away from her as possible in my slacks and sandals, to order at the counter. She continued to sweep, in my direction!She wasn't sweeping carefully to avoid me, she was sweeping with gusto in my direction! I think I will make the effort to purchase from HEB if I need this type of sweet from here on out. The time before that I had an issue, my son wanted a donut. We got there 15 minutes before they closed. Went up to the window, and they told us sorry we've already thrown all the donuts out!
