Not bad but not great either. Food was average. Service was OK despite the wrong order being brought out. I would recommend if not a special occasion and just out to grab something to eat.

Good bento lunch a lot of value for your money. A lot of different options for those that want sushi and for those that don’t. Looking forward to coming back to try other items.

Sushi Sample B -- Fishy, dirty. Not sushi grade fish unless it was the leftover from the weekend. lack of seasoning. bland. Steak and Chicken Hibachi - Steak very well done. chicken cooked like jerky. no seasoning on steak, but fried rice was salty. 80% not edible. Maybe on a busy Saturday this place would be ok. But on a Tuesday... Worst $100 ever spent on dinner. Id go elsewhere. Lots of people standing around playing on phone... service was slow. Very underwhelming.

When we walked in, we noticed the decor and mood lighting, which were very nice. My daughter and I both ordered the chicken teriyaki bento box. It was a lot of food for a $12.95 lunch special. The food was alright, nothing to write home about. One of the servers seemed to be very scatterbrained and kind of all over the place, leaving our server to handle more tables than he probably should have had to. Overall, I’d probably give it another shot, but maybe on a weekday when not as busy so the staff that is scheduled is not so overwhelmed.

I would rank it up there with supermarket sushi. The rice is not appropriate for the rolls and neither is the fish. Too much thick rice and too little thin fish. Very deficient. Had a hibachi dish that was totally void of flavor and seasoning. This place is nothing more than mediocrity at its best, just fresher than the supermarket. If you can I would pass it by

I go come to this Sakekawa at least once a week, the food here is amazing and usually the service is really good too. But today I got a extremely rude server, I don’t know if he was knew because I had never seen him before working at this location. He was a bald mid 30’s man. The moment he started serving us I noticed he was in a bad mood. And then he didn’t come to check on us, was very rude the whole time. I understand everyone has their problems outside of work but we have to learn how to separate personal life from work.

Ordered the garlic edamame and a chirashi bowl . I usually have a good experience here but tonight I was given overdone, soggy edamame and very poorly cut fish. Also, there was very little rice in the bowl. I hope this was just an off night and doesn’t happen the next time I crave sushi. :(

Even though it was really busy the manager came out and was serving when staff was short and we still got everything fast- this sushi place has always been the best one in my book ??

Great food and sushi, was slightly apprehensive at first because we happened to be in the area and chose it last minute but we are glad we did. Very friendly staff.

Awful place food made me throw up and the guy with glasses who was taking care of the front was extra rude, disrespectful. There is another restaurant with the same concept. Do not recommend
