Great food by Chef Arturo.Recommended for intimate dining experience.
The service was great, the workers were extremely courteous, and the atmosphere was beautiful. I really wanted to like the food here, but it unfortunately was not good. The pasta I had was extremely bland (definitely boiled in unsalted water), the stuffed eggplant that I ordered was very tough and bitter, and the cheese on top of the eggplant was overwhelming to where I couldn't taste much other than bitterness and oil. I truly wanted to like this food and I would love to come back and give it a second shot, but my food just was not good enough for the high price (over $20 for my underseasoned dish).
After looking around for a place for our anniversary dinner, we decided to try Papa Amadeos. My husband is the at-home cook and I’m the professional taste tester for his fine cooking. Most times when we eat out, one of us usually ends up saying “your version is so much better.”But OMG!! Papa Amadeus is amazing.Their fresh baked bread was warm and delicious and I LOVED the dipping sauce. We had house salads and the dressing was really nice (although next time I will ask for the dressing on the side as I prefer a minimal amount). My husband ordered the special — red snapper with almond crust served over a bed of spinach with a mango sauce. It was divine. Fish was perfectly cooked and the flavor was wonderful.I had the linguine with mussels (minus the red pepper flakes because they kill me) with a light and bright lemony cream sauce. TO DIE FOR!!!Even though we were stuffed, we wanted dessert!!I had the cannoli and my had a piece of limoncello cake. They were both awesome. The chef came and said hello to us when we got to our table. Our server and the sweet fellow who kept our water glasses filled were both lovely. We couldn’t have asked for a better anniversary dinner.Support your local mom and pop businesses because they are real gems.
The place was very pleasant and the food was absolutely delicious. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable and they had live music on Saturday night. Can’t wait to go back!
Food is soo good! We are so happy to have finally gotten to the new location and love the new additions to the menu. Definitely a must try and will always be a favorite
First time eating there Tuesday 1/18. And the Prosciutto and Buffalo appetizer which was presented well and the balsamic vinaigrette drizzled on everything brought the dish to another level. The main course was the gnocchi with Italian sausage and peppers in a creamy tomato sauce. EXCELLENT! Besides the great food, it's a BYOB restaurant with a $15 bottle corkage fee. I will back.
I love the food and music ??vest place to relax so romantic
Incredible dining experience, fine dining at its finest, great ambience and the food has been on point every time. This has become our favorite italian restaurant in the woodlands area
Definitely recommend this restaurant. The food is amazing and the staff was great. Very nice atmosphere as well.
Delicious! Chef and staff are very friendly and attentive.
