Have been a long time customer...lately orders are wrong...picked up order this week, got home order is wrong...this time I called to complain...they won't deliver across 1960 so would have to go pickup again...i said nope, will come get another day...was told by night manager that would be fine "I'll leave a note in case I'm not there"...guess what happened?? Yep, stopped to pickup replacement order in the same week...NO NOTE, NO OFFER TO TAKE CARE OF THE ISSUE...I have to come back...REALLY!! What happened to servicing your customer...Taste of China is just across the street and they are pretty good as well....owner is very welcoming! Yes, I am angry!!
Overall, it was ok. On a Friday early evening it was 3/4 full, with most aged 60+. I'll probably go back, but will try other places in the meantime.Decor (5 star): very ordinate wood carvingsService (4 star): seemed to be on autopilot; I had a couple of questions, but waiter had time for one, and was off again.Food (4 star): good, but indistinguishable from other restaurants, though I did order a very common dish.Cleanliness (4 star): Staff were prompt in clearing and reorganizing tables. I didn't feel rushed.Value (5 star): plenty of portions at a very good price, e.g., cheapest combo meal was under $10.General: The sake was the milky or cloudy type.
Had an issue with my delivery order by the time I realize there was no lemon sauce my lemon chicken was room temperature and Soggy. I asked for a refund and was only given a partial refund because as I was told, you ate some of it. Yes I did eat the soup before getting to the chicken. Very petty.
You want to talk about customer service. This is the place for you. I love the artwork all over ! Very nice to see more then a print out painting. Very happy to see smiling faces from Dan to Jennifer still working there. Thank you whole team as well.
I have been coming here to eat for over 35 years and by far the best oriental food for a great price. Although Ben isn't the original owner, he has been there for at least 30 years. White table cloth dining with an extensive menu.
Love this long time family owned and operated establishment in Champions. Hands down the best lunchtime food and prices. Great service and wide selection of food and drinks.
The restaurant was clean with nice decor. Lunch specials provide a good portion of food for a good price I had the orange chicken with white meat which was good but I'd like to try it again with the dark meat to see if the $1 upcharge is worth it. Staff was friendly and service was quick. Overall I had a good experience and would return again.
Very good food and served fresh. There was other things I want to try besides the basic popular stuff
Started out to be a very promising place. CoolDecor and promptly waited on. Got a family dinner and the excellent appetizers arrived. Had to remind the waitress of our wine order. Then we waited and waited and waited for our entrees. Three couples in the dining room, one that arrived after us all had their food. Tons of to go orders going out the door and our waitress disappeared to check on our order. That was it for us. Really disappointed. I thought it was going to be our new favorite place.
Had a great first time experience. Waiter was attentive and took interest in my lady's special food request. Food was much better than most other Chinese Restaurants. The most important issue with most Chinese restaurants is they all taste the same. These guys actually make the food flavorful and I can tell it's not cheap ingredients. Meat quality is high end. No fat or gristle... lean well cooked beef. Now my regular restaurant.
