the restaurant is amazing! i went over since my job is next to it and gave it a try, Joy was amazing and super nice the cook was also very nice and his cooking is amazing, overall 100/10 ☺️ try the shaggy rolls !
We love coming to Miyazaki. The chef/ owner is always friendly and stops by tables to chat. We had shrimp and vegetable tempura and spring rolls to start. Tempura is light and the spring rolls are crispy without being greasy like some places. We each had a roll as well and the sushi is fresher than others in the area. I also had the shrimp and steak hibachi both cooked well with good flavor. The steak was between medium taste and medium which was perfect. The decor is minimalistic and may turn some off but I don't go out to eat for the decor, I go for the food. I wish I lived closer so e could go more than we do.
We chose this place because it was the highest rated sushi place nearby while we were visiting family. It truly did not disappoint! A little family run place with a nice staff. If I have one gripe, it's that there was a bit too much sauce on a few things, but I'm not mad about it. It was still great food and a good time!
We were looking for hibachi with a show, which they don't have, but decided to stay anyways, as we had 3 hungry kids. Best accident ever! Our server was Angus, and he was extremely polite and helpful. 5 spring rolls (best I've ever had), 3 sushi rolls (super full!) & a 5 delicious hibachi meals later, our bellies are full and happy. We will not mind driving the hour it takes us to get her again!
Very good! Nice selection of sushi, decent menu otherwise. Chef seemed very passionate about chili spice, they were out of 10, but the 7,8, and 9 were all flavorful and had their own flavors (not just heat, though they did bring the spice).
Awesome restaurant! T and Jordan are very friendly, attentive, and offer a great dining experience. The sushi was all very good along with the pork ramen. Everything was great! Definitely will be back!
I ordered from them through grubhub and they forgot an item. I called them and they said I was a liar. Never again.
This place has really good food and really great service. The miso soup was excellent. I got a bento Box And the portions were just right. My Japanese wife got sushi and she said it was Good. She gave the place 3 and a 1/2 stars I'll give it 4 in a quarter
A hidden gem! The staff was amazing and suggested the Volcano Roll (far right on pic) which was amazing! We also got the Shaggy Dog and Army Roll. All so amazing and fresh
Very surprised with all the raving reviews and stars. The food is just bad. Not rotten or spoiled, but this is not at all even a decent sushi restaurant.Miso soup tasted off.Sashimi platter - four kinds of thickly sliced fish (Tuna, salmon, white fish and supposedly Yellowtail) over a bowl of ice! Not spoiled but not sushi quality by far.Chirashi Don - same kinds of fish but thinner sliced and sorta butchered. Rice is plain rice, not sushi rice.Naruto roll - awful.Miyazaki special roll - even worse.Seaweed salad tasted off and looked worse.Sake was alright.Service was okay, no complaints.We love sushi. This was not sushi. Save your money and your stomachs, eat someplace else. We couldn't eat that, paid $98+tip and left.
