I'm not sure who at JAX thought it was a good idea to change the menu, change the meat patties and change the prices so much. My wife and I ate burger and cheese fries and both had a drink, it was $44. Never again for me, we can go to a decent restaurant for that, its a good burger but not for that price. 1 week prior I fed 3 people at Hippo burger ($38) for less than 2 at JAX. Definitely gonna run your customers off with these prices, it ran me off!
I have been eating at Jax for years. Last night was the first time in a few months and I was truly disappointed. They changed their menu to singles, double, triple and etc. I called and was told that a single was a quarter pound. It was a flat patty. It use to be a 1/3 pound, real burger for less money. The new burger is in no way 1/4 pound served on a huge bun. I literally cut my burger in half and stacked the meat and threw away the over half of the bun. I’d prefer they just raise the prices and keep the same 1/3 pound and 1/2 pound burgers. The only plus is the staff were very pleasant. However, I will not go back as long as they are using those burgers.
Hot, juicy burgers served by friendly staff and a master chef. Half and half Cajun + Garlic parm fries were fresh and hot.
There have been some recent menu changes which make general ordering a little confusing, but the food was excellent. If you're ordering a double double burger, you might need a nap after. (The menu I looked at online, had it listed as 2 patties but there was 4!) The inside business seemed pretty quiet, I'm sure it picks up here and there, but either way, my overall experience was pleasant.
Food was good, but they reduced their menu quite a bit (I think they only offer like 4 burgers now). I used to get the bacon blue cheese burger; it's not on their menu anymore. I would've given it at least a 4 star review.
Good burgers but prices have gone up since they opened
Went in to pick up an order Togo. The girl at register ask if I’d like a drink while I waited. I said yes. Next thing I know the manager is questioning me as to if I paid for it. I explained that the girl taking my money offered the drink. Then the manager ask me if I had ask for water but had gotten soda. My meal was almost 40 dollars and I’ve never been more insulted. I will not be back. The food is not worth being treated that way.
INCREDIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE HANDS DOWN!! Came to celebrate my sons football game win with family from out of town. Total of 12 people/ 12 orders and not a single thing wrong on such a big order. The young man who brought the food and the cashier were exceptional. Super polite, fast and of course the food was amazing! Thanks so much for making the evening that much more special ???
Absolutely awesome. Real meat, not frozen nonsense. Buns are toasted perfectly. And the fries are golden crisp. Two burgers fries and drinks for $34. Got to say worth the price.
Great burgers and atmosphere. Professional and friendly staff. One of our favorite places to grab a burger. Recommend!
