Definitely a hometown bar. Everybody knows everybody. It was my first time in there and I felt very welcomed by the people I was sitting at the bar with. I wasn’t drinking because I was there for business, but it was a very welcoming environment. Bartender was kind and the food was pretty good! Made some friends and will be back for the wings! ?? oh, and it doesn’t pertain to me but you can smoke in there too and they have a cigarette machine thing that dispenses cigs when you run out.
Janies is a great place to relax and hang out with good people!

First time there, attended a benefit for a friend.Nice clean place, staff was very friendly, they made you feel welcomed. Not a huge place, although I would go back. Yes you should try Janie's Bar out.
I just met friends at Janie’s for Monday night steak night. Larry makes the best steak in town-cooked perfectly, tastes amazing and is fairly priced. Amber always serves up the best drinks and the friendly atmosphere can’t be beat.
