It had been a while since last visit due mainly to the lockdowns. I have been ordering the lasagna with tomato sauce for maybe 20 years. I ordered a takeout so I did not have it at the restaurant. I was so disappointed with the first bite. It was not bad but was just not like Hasta La Pasta's lasagna. The pasta was so overcooked that it was nothing but mush. The tomato sauce did not have the sweetness that it has had for decades. The dinner rolls weren't rolls they were more like a biscuit. My son's fetucine Alfredo had very little pasta. I will give it a try again and I hope that it will not be a repeat of tonight's meal.
Yes gawd honey!! I'm a 1st time customer, today. I ordered meatballs which come w/garlic bread via my free grubhub no delivery charge from having an Amazon prime acct (student price too), and I tried carrot cake. EVERYTHING was 5 star delicious ? Perfect for studying!!
Friendly waiters, great service very good food. One minor mention we order cheesecake with strawberry toppings/ fresh strawberries ? to go, but when we got home the cheesecake had a tiny strawberry sauce you could barely see and no strawberries for the top. Mom was disappointed.
Excellent food and attentive service,and the portions are huge! My brother got a pizza and all three of us will end up eating it( it's like 16" across). Wide variety of Italian food and everything is good. The atmosphere is nice too, like being in an Italian villa instead of a shopping center in northwest Houston.A little bit expensive but well worth it!
We took our residents to this wonderful establishment and boy what a hidden gem! The staff was pleasant, knowledgeable, understanding and oh so helpful! The owner introduced himself and ensured that everything was going well... We have had so many residents express their enjoyment during our time spent at Hasta LA Pasta, I wouldn't doubt our return! Thank you for the excellent customer service and experience ?
Our dinner was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!! My husband and myself were with our daughter and her fiance for a tasting for their wedding later this year. Everything we tried was excellent. But our lovely "Hostess for the evening" (AKA, Sam the Manager) gave us suggestions that were absolutely top notch. Sam was fantastic, she immediately got a feel for what the kids were looking for, so her recommendations just nailed it. She was so knowledgeable about the restaurant and the food, along with how banquets and wedding catering works with Hasta La Pasta we knew we were in great hands. I HIGHLY recommend Hasta La Pasta! And Sam deserves high accolades for her knowledge, her service and her kindness. Phenomenal employee!
I live nearby so I always drive by here. I finally decided to give it a try for lunch after the park since my daughters wanted noodles. Upon arriving I felt underdressed.. the inside of the restaurant is nice- I was not expecting that seeing the outside or the name (I think its a clever ,funny name, and thought it would be a more laid back place. Not one with cloth napkins) However at the end of the day it shouldn't matter how I looked, I was there to eat.I was told there was a wait for 20 minutes, I said that's fine since I was already there and my toddlers were hungry. We got seated shortly after, the restaurant was very empty so I'm not sure if there was ever actually anything to wait for, or if it was because of how we were dressed and perhaps they thought we would of left hearing there was a wait.The waiter seemed to be doing his best to be polite but he was not necessarily welcoming. I felt even more uncomfortable to have to be served by him. It almost felt as if I was a bother.I ordered, and did not notice until pretty much the end of us finishing our meal that my dish was supposed to of came with a soup or a salad, the waiter never asked me and he should of.I could be wrong but I honestly felt like I was being judged based off appearance from the moment we walked in which no restaurant staff should ever feel the audacity to do.The food was okay, I would've loved if the service had been better. Perhaps then I would've been a regular customer.Something for the restaurant staff to note, without customers there is no paycheck.
I have loved Hasta La Pasta ever since they opened their doors! My favorite dish has always been the Cheese Ravioli with tomato cream sauce. I have recently stepped outside the box and tried their pizza which is the best I've ever had!!
The host was very welcoming. The server was wonderful. I believe the manager or owner was present because he was helping out on the floor which was great to see. The food was hot! Had to and salt a pepper but over all good. I ordered shrimp Alfredo. The shrimp were cooked prefect. Some places over cook shrimp. But they do not here! That’s for having me! Very nice people work here.
Great Italian restaurant, with exquisite pasta. Nice patio pet friendly. The fettuccine Alfredo was amazing, a new favorite place
