Will NOT be back! Said hello when we walked in then let us sit there for 5 min. 3 employees there and Noone can take an order. Then when Veronica came to the window she was not friendly. After ordering our meal I saw that she put no pickles. I told her I want pickles. Her response was oh sorry we are out, AGAIN! Why not say that at the time of order? Then when I got my meal it was not what I ordered. Not I am sorry or let me fix it, but we are out of mushrooms. What? I ordered an engineer with Turkey not a New York steamer. When I asked to talk with a manager she just looked at me dumbfounded. Must be a very hard stressful job for her. Employees hate their job here and it is very obvious. Go to another location. This one needs to shut down. Look at all the other reviews they have lost there care.
This location does not have good hygiene. My sub was being made on bare counter top and the manager Jason got upset when I told the employee I wanted new bread that was clean and had not been burnt like the picture below. Is this acceptable? Keep in mind the bread was so hard and burnt you could hit someone and it be considered a deadly weapon. Shame on Jason for not handling this situation.
The shift lead at lunch time (Jason) is horrible. This location is slow, not clean when it comes to wiping things down, gloves and sandwich paper are lacking. A customer had to ask for clean paper to go down under her bread when I was waiting for my order and the manager was arguing with her. That’s a shame and corporate needs to fire him and get better management. The staff can only be as good as the manager trains them.
I’m not a stickler for masks, mind you. I tend to mind my own business with all of that but to see several employees handling our food without them was a little unnerving. I figure if they’re handling food, maybe wear a mask? If for no other reason than customers peace of mind.
Always well staffed and on point. The one and only location I've ever been to, but I can gladly say that this is my favorite sub shop based on the experiences I've had at this location.
First time this location, Wow great service and the food was well made.
While I do like this place, it is a little expensive for what you get, and the customer service is slow too often. An extra star is taken away for not having hot sauce! Firehouse is known for having a variety of hot sauces, but you won’t find that here.

Let me start by saying I love firehouse subs. This location however has to be the worst in Houston. It took forever (42) min to get. The flavor was not there, it was hot, however not toasted. Kids behind the counter just throwing stuff together. Will not be back.
They never answer the phone and doing a mobile order will have you waiting over 40mins for it to be ready when there is a set time for pick up
