Had a wonderful after work lunch with my girlfriends and it was so good. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. Drinks are beautiful and one will be good if you planning on driving home but anymore and maybe be passenger. A little pricey but we had a great time and I walked away full and relaxed and we had some good memories. Definitely will go back in future.
The food here was good but not worth the price. We went ok a Friday night at 9 and the food was out very quickly.We ordered sour cream chicken enchiladas and the regular ground beef enchiladas with the gravy sauce. The sour cream enchiladas were covered in a delicious sour cream garlic sauce. The ground beef barely had any sauce on them. I asked for jalapenos and Valentina sauce to add more flavor to it.We probably won't be returning. The portions were too small and the quality wasn't worth $15 for enchiladas.
I've been going for more than 20 years. One of the top mexican places I've been in Houston period. Famous fajitas and margaritas! Great staff, great service. You can never go wrong. The restaurant is beautiful with indoor/outdoor seating and a separate cantina. We've also hosted parties in their banquet room. Nothing but good things to say. It's all love ❤️
food was awesome. our server was very attentive and we were able to customize our plates by adding and subtracting items,toppings etc. will be returning very soon.oh and the margaritas were great !!
99.7% of time I have been here bartender been on her phone Touching other personal items then my dishes and everything else is really unappealing and un-appetizing. Hate to leave bad reviews and have always loved coming here but this was not good. Have a blessed day. Don’t guess I’ll be back to the bar here.
Love this place! Staff is wonderful always. Have been several times and I love the salsa! Great prices too for the food.
El Palenque is one my favorite places to eat. The staff is always very helpful. The food is the best. On cold days their soup will warm you up. The Texas Combo is always a good lunch.
Food is okay/good, prices average, service decent, drinks are okay. Thing is I forgot my wallet and didn’t have any cash but I use my Apple Pay most of the times, when I asked Andrea J my sever she just said no, not here … my companion had to pay when I was the one invited.Well, just for the record my server NEVER said “you’re welcome” (even when I intentionally said “thank you”) or nor even said “I apologise” for something then can’t do …
Service and food was very good.
Francisco is been our server for years and he is great, very pleasant and friendly!
