Delicious, good local donut shop. All employees are super nice
Been meaning to try them for a while as I have heard good things. It is a quaint mom-and-pop shop and the donuts are good. As a first time shoper I had no idea what it was paying as the price board only list by the dozen prices.
This place is terrible the owner changes the prices every week. And it’s never the price that is on the board. She just makes it up as she goes. You will point out that it says a certain amount for that item and she will make up a number. I went there for three weeks straight and she just pulls out whatever prices she feels on that day. Then they cheat you out of your money. She will give you the wrong change two out of three times. I’m disappointed in this place.

This unassuming place with very little signage tucked in an unassuming strip needs to be experienced if you get the chance. Yes, they have kolaches and, of course, donuts. They also have tacos of some sort. These are all fresh and very well made. The glaze is never messy (as if the neatness of a donut matters). Frosting on donuts is consistent and consistently good. But the absolute best item Donut Palace carries is their apple fritter. I’ve had a few in my life. And I know some of their regulars who have had a few all over the world. These are, without a doubt, the most exceptional apple fritters I have ever had. They are the perfect combination of delectable crusty on the outside and tender, warm goodness in the inside. A warning: they sometimes go fast, so you may have to arrive early to get your hands on something that could possibly be a life elevating, if not life changing experience.
I've been going to this donut shop for years! Great food and super sweet owners. They are always appreciative of my business. Large variety and everything always tastes so fresh. They are located at the entrance of Imperial Oaks on Rayford Road.
