Let me give a big shout out to the 1614 Louetta location. I ordered for 25 people on Father’s Day our family was so pleased with the food we got the chicken, brisket and jalapeño cheese sausage for our meats everything was amazing. They provided everything including paper ware, ice, tea silverware and all condiments. They delivered at 11:00 sharp as asked. My hat goes off to them we will definitely do this again.Thank you,Kim M.

They delivered it to my home promptly at 11 with everything to go with it. The service was A+. Thank you for giving my family more time to enjoy the company instead of cooking. I ordered a Baker fully loaded with chopped beef for take out. The baked potato was undercooked, cold, and the chopped beef was 80% gristle and fat. I ate about half of it and threw the rest out. Quality of food has been declining, but this was the worst I’ve ever had. I am not one to write bad reviews, but the food was way below par tonight. I won’t be going back to Dickey’s Barbecue Pit.
Worst BBQ restaurant I have ever been to. Got a sausage sandwich and the meat was grey and soft. My wife got a baked potato and it had some grey, weird smelling meat in the middle. I think they cook there food a day or two in advance and have them in the warmer until it is sold. This would explain why both my wife and I food was barely warm. We ended up throwing both our plates away after the first bite to avoid getting sick. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.
1st time trying Dickeys! The ribs were pretty tender & good. My only downside is that it didn't really have much of the smoky flavor that I love. I tried the Sweet bbq sauce & the Dr Pepper sauce and they both were really good. The only downside with that is that it I wish it was a little thicker. I poured it on but it didn't stick and just ran off . Overall it was really good. David was also super nice.
Absolutely enjoyed our food and takeout experience. We were greeted immediately with friendly salutations then provided with superior customer service. Our food was hot & delicious.
Pass by this place all the time while door dashing and decided to stop in for lunch. The ribs are terribly dry, tough, and flavorless. Baked potato had chopped beef but it was also flavorless. No had to request extra BBQ sauce and cheese, and had to use the little salt and pepper packets in the plastic ware to try to spruce it up some. The only slight pleasure was after drowning it in tons of BBQ sauce. I would have to be starving to come back again. My 4 yr old tasted it and gave it a thumbs down. lol
Love the pulled pork and brisket! The other meats are good too... chicken and turkey are moist, the spicy kielbasa has just the right kick. The only meat i haven't tried is the ribs- not sure why, just haven't gotten around to them...lol. Sides are decent- fries, okra, onion tanglers are always piping hot and crispy.
Good food but they didn't get all of our order and where closing 30 minutes before posted time. Noticed order missing when got home called they said they were closed and deal with it the next day. Never got it resolved next day either.
Ah Dickey's, the bbq sauce is SO GOOD there that they now have it behind the counter so you can't have any. I mean, c'mon, we are paying for it we should have bbq sauce to go with the bbq food! Not so bad if you dine in, but pick up a to go order and you get zero bbq sauce, why would that be? Guess I'll stick with Rudy's from now on.
