I am visiting this location as a result of a family member recommendation. This location is great for its location with limited hours, food choices, and beer with no immediate specific competition. This place appears to be one stand alone spot in a small town without much or any competition. My family ordered their food and I as well that would provide me a great sampling of what was offered on a daily menu. Of specific interest was that they offered turkey on a very limited basis and chicken only on Saturday..?? There was no chicken and no turkey upon our arrival about 12:30 pm on a Friday. Well, one in our party would only eat chicken or turkey. A salad became the ultimate choice which she did enjoy. I sampled the sausage and felt it was just average in taste, but not something I or my family would order again. I sampled the brisket and found it was good, tender, seasoned, but noted that the half pound of three slices included a third of the portion in fat. When I pay by the pound, I prefer to choose whether to consume fat or not. The ribs were also a bit chewy with too much fat. The dry seasoning was just okay. The pickle slices had a crunch and a hint of garlic it seemed. The jalapeno pepper slices were fresh cut and crisp. The baked potato was enjoyed as well as the coleslaw, spinach and macaroni. Most of the meats arrived luke warm and the beans seemed like plain baked beans with a bit of barbecue sauce and were unimpressive and average. This visit left me thinking where I can go get food for my spouse to eat.

Get ready for some of the best BBQ you'll ever have! These guys do it right. Had my parents visiting from the east coast and thought I'd take them here - they were astonished. We ordered just about everything in the menu just to get a taste. Knifes are not needed for anything. You can tear apart the meats with a plastic fork, that's saying something..The brisket is my favorite, followed by the Beef Rib (highly recommend) and then the Ribs. Hell, it's all really good.Without a doubt, go early ~45-60 min prior to opening to get a spot in line. 1000% worth waiting.

Best BBQ I have ever had. Well worth the wait. We joked they need a new t-shirt that says ‘my wife used to say my bbq was the best’Seriously top notch. The service staff are excellent a true all around over and above experience. The coleslaw was super unique. Will definitely be back

Stopped there for a mid week lunch and glad I was there at 11:15 as there was a short line forming just to get in an order. They have all the typical Texas BBQ items but also do a lot of creative other dishes using the BBQ meats or other ingredients. It was worth the wait and very tasty and the people working there are very nice!

BBQ here is always above the rest - but on May 3, 2020, we were served the most incredible brisket ever! When you experience a meal above all others, it becomes a wonderful memory! I honestly can’t describe the flavor and texture of the brisket but it was beyond delicious!

Good things come to those willing to wait Don’t come Hangry. ?. Yes it’s true so be prepared to wait in line approximately 45 minutes to place your order in person. After we placed our order with the cashier, we waited less than 10 mins to get our food, but we had a small order. We had the beef brisket and the pulled pork sandwiches, both were very tasty and tender. The food portions were very generous. The staff was energetic, helpful and courteous. Everyone seemed happy to be at work and to serve us. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Seriously, if I knew the food was going to be so good, I would have placed a “to go” order as well.

Located in a great little neighborhood, loved everything about our lunch visit. Hubby had brisket sandwich & I had pulled pork. Both were delicious, the baked beans were yummy & don’t get me started on the loaded baked potato ? In the area, definitely stop by. Plenty of parking, seating inside & out. The employees were super nice, helpful & always in action.

I have to admit. This is the best BBQ I've ever eaten. The brisket and ribs are perfect. The sides are unbelievably good too. I've been eating here frequently as soon as I found out how good this place is. You gotta get there early because the lines are long but the servers will still get you drinks while you wait.

Went to this BBQ joint at the recommendation of a work friend. The brisket and ribs were phenomenal! I’m a huge fan of genuine Texas BBQ and this is the real deal. The sides were even great. I went after the lunch rush and the outside seating area had plenty of shade thanks to the large trees. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. If you are in the area and want to check out some great BBQ, try Corkscrew. You will not be disappointed.
