Just average. I was expecting more from all the positive reviews. Oysters on the half shell were good. The “jumbo” bacon wrapped shrimp were large not jumbo. They tasted good. They were supposed to come with asparagus. I got steamed squash, zucchini and broccoli. I was a bit disappointed. The dirty rice tasted ok but it was a little dry. The place was very loud too. That's ok if you don't want to carry on a conversation. Service was average. I don't like having to ask for more water.
After driving past Bleu every day for a few months now we decided to try out some oysters and we are so happy we did! Delicious Rockefeller oysters, Charbroiled and and also the Scallops were amazing! Presentation was beautiful, seasoning was in point, ambiance and customer service was excellent. They offered reasonable priced bottled beer, which was a little bonus on a hot day and flavored ice tea. The cherry on top was the military discount. We love supporting places that support our vets ❤️ Definitely give them a try. The menu has many non seafood items that looked scrumptious on tables all around us.
Saw this place while running an errand in the area and decided to go back and try. Small establishment, semi friendly staff, i say this because didn't smile and barely greeted us. Server was nice and respectful. His name was Eric. Minimalistic decor.Nice outdoor seating area.Food was very tasty. Small"er" portions IMO.They didn't have the gulf oysters I wanted to try but that's ok, we got another kind. Blackened shrimp was great....plump and juicy. The gumbo was nice and the Boudin balls was well seasoned.Will go back again. 4* rating is based on food.
My husband, two kids, and I just went and ate here.. and I think the best thing I have to say is that our server Cody was really nice. Our bill was a hundred dollars, so we spent 120 with the tip, and I can't say much of anything was good. My bacon wrapped shrimp was WAY over cooked and my rice was cold. The kids didn't really like their food, the oysters tasted like nothing but greasy parmesian, and my husband said the only thing that he enjoyed at all was the tuna. I don't know, after spending over a week's worth of grocery money, I was really disappointed.
I love this place. Everything is amazing except the dirty rice. Fried shrimp are large and super fresh. Bruce (the owner) has seafood flown in almost daily so its always good. The oysters are fabulous. Even good hamburgers.
I loved this place when it first opened, and went every now and then, but I haven't been back in about a year. I went recently with a friend and it was not as good as it used to be. My friend ordered scallops and they were very small, like the size of a quarter. She did say they tasted good but was disappointed in the size. I had grilled mahi mahi which was good. However, service wasn't good either. I think our server forgot about us a couple of times.
atmosphere is great! servers are always exceptional! food is always so good! love this place!
The food and drinks were absolutely delicious! Great service, atmosphere and reasonably priced..Worth it! Our family will definitely frequent Bleu again.
Love the food but the girls that answer the phones are not the smartest. They will tell you they have curbside but then when you call to pick it up they tell you to go inside and pay. Doesn’t that defeat the purpose of curbside?! There was also one time when we kept calling and calling . The line was busy for 10+ minutes. When we went in, the hostess apologized because she mistakenly left the phone off the hook. Wowwwww. Wonder how much business they lost that night!Also, Half the time I pick up food they also forget something in the order so make sure to double check your order before you leave!I think there definitely needs to be more training with the phone staff / hostesses. The food is outstanding but the service is severely slacking.I have dined in and the wait staff is great. It’s really the people I mentioned above that have caused my negative experiences here.
This place is either a hit or miss on flavor for the crawfish honestly, nice little place to go to when you need a quick fix, but other than that it's average sadly to say...
