Currently looking to hire and you can tell. My husband and I went in the late evening and although they were not too busy, our food could have been better. Seems like one bartender was servicing both inside and outside bar.I know they have great service but one experience does not define this restaurant. Hopefully they can hire new people and get back up to the top where I've known them to be.
The food was good overall. The first round of crawfish was very flavorful and very tasty. However the second round seemed like it was only boiled with no flavor - however the waitress was nice enough to provide some extra seasoning on the side. The kitchen was having issues so our kids' food took about 1+ hours to come out - which was our biggest complaint. The waitress and manager were understanding and accommodated the situation fairly.
242 is always good, and surprisingly delicious. Sometimes it takes a bit for a waitress to notice you came in, especially if you are on the far west side of the restaurant, but service is always good once they see you. The menu says everything is scratch made, and I believe it. Everything is way tastier than you would expect from a "Sports bar" like atmosphere. I don't normally frequent sports bars, but this one is worthwhile if you're hungry. Crawfish is always fresh and large, and it's always cooked just right. We enjoy the boudain balls/bites too. Everything is always good here actually. Check it out!
The only reason for the 1 star is the food is good, if you can ever get served. I’ve tried this location on a couple of occasions since it’s close to the house. If you see more than 10 cars in the parking lot, keep driving. They can’t handle the crowds and this is even before Covid. This latest trip we sat for 20 mins with not even a glass of water and barely acknowledgement that we were even there. Table next to us complained because they waited for their food for a long time and came out cold. Garbage service means garbage experience.
This place had absolutely gorgeous bartenders and staff. To top it off the drink specials here are unbelievable. Cheap cheap! Finally they have the best wings ever. I highly recommend the Sweet Thai Chili wings. Disney World for your taste buds!!
My husband and I have eaten here numerous times. This time we went with a large group and We were all impressed with Kayla M our waitress. She was very attentive and thoughtful. As we were ordering she asked if we wanted the kids meal first and we advised her we probably want it to go because our granddaughter was asleep. As our food was delivered of course she woke up and Kayla was quick to have the kitchen make the kids meal and brought it out for her. Kayla was very knowledgeable on the products and her suggestions were great. There were other large parties she was taking care of and she was able to still provide excellent customer service. We all were very happy with Kayla M and very glad she was our waitress. I know we will back again as my husband and frequently eat here. Now I think there will be three other families returning.
Very slow service and the food was quite overpriced. The food was very good though! I'm always concerned when the menu has no prices, but sometimes that's how it is.Had a bbq chicken melt, a burger, and alligator...all fantastic.
5 stars on most everything except the Blackened Seafood Tacos.. I love fish/shrimp tacos but these were not that great. However all the other food I tasted was spot on!
Come and see Brandy! Crawfish is back and seasoned great! Cold beer and all drinks are poured GOOD!
This place was going good. I was even discussing to my wife how this place had low reviews. Then I saw a roach crawling by my plate of food. I was disgusted. I moved my baby and was shocked to see how a roach could crawl on a baby carrier. Then a manager came and checked and said he believed us.
