This is not the Torchy’s I used to have. This is the first time I got a bad Hillbilly Queso, like curdled milk consistency. The tacos, not as good as usual.Lack of quality in overall.
Torchy's never disappoints! The service was great! They always have a smile on their face and greet you with enthusiasm. The food? Well, what can I say? It is simply yummy! It takes no time at all to get your food after you have sat down from ordering. It is always fresh. Their Hillbilly Queso and Guacamole and Chips are a meal all by themselves. I can order them and nothing else and be very happy when I leave. Try Torchy's! You won't be disappointed!
Went to use the restroom after eating. The restrooms were locked. Male going past me wouldn't unlock them despite me being a paying customer having finished my food and beverage.Won't return.
I'm really happy they offer a vegan taco now! I love it. It's kind of greasy or saucy or whatever you wanna call it so next time I might get it in a bowl. The chips and Guac is on point and my bf loves the queso here, and he's super picky about cheese.
I placed a pickup order here, but meant to do it for another location. I called to let them know about my mistake, so they could offer my food to a employee or anyone who might want it. The employee who answered offered to refund my money, although I had ordered at the wrong location, and the food was likely already made. It was not necessary, but it showed they were thinking of their customers more than policy or bottom line. Awesome service!Obviously their food is awesome too!!! You know that Torchy’s queso will change your life!
Friendly staff, fast to get the food out, and a nice patio. It was surprisingly quiet for being right off of the main road. It was the perfect patio spot to bring our bird for lunch. We also saw several other people enjoying the patio with their dogs.
Hands down one of my favorite taco spots, the variety and rotation keep things interesting here. The Tokyo drifter is a fave as well as the Trailer Park taco..you have to try this place at least once in your life if not more!
Tacos are almost $5 each, but they are generously filled with your meat selection - and they are delicious! And if you like queso you must try the Hillbilly Queso! I had the green chile pork taco and others had the chicken fajita tacos and one with fried chicken strip - we absolutely recommend! ?
Try the trailer park tacos. They are a little spicy, but so good. The queso is a must have, again it's a little spicy. The only thing I don't like here is the corn tortillas (BEWARE!) they are crunchy and hard to chew.
We don't have a torchys near us (north fort worth) so we make the 30 minute drive to Southlake to get it. If I'm being honest, we go for the chips and queso mostly, although we do like the tacos too. The last two times we've been they've been out of either chips or the queso. It's a huge letdown to make that drive to be told they're out. I honestly don't think we would have drove 30 minutes for the tacos alone. Aside from that, everything else was great. We'll call ahead next time before heading out.
