Fun sushi experience. My daughter loves the bento box! Fresh Fish and lot
Chewy Salmon! These salmons need a massage. It got a bunch of knots (tendon) in it. LOL. We asked for a remake and chef cut a new fresh ones but still have knots. We couldn’t chew them off so we had to discard them. We talked to the server and she mentioned that it depends on the part of the fish. And we still got charge for the food that we couldn’t eat anyway. I wish there would be a better customer service to take care of this issue. Also, they forgot our original salmon ? order until we already finish eating. One point is off for forgetting order. One point is off for chewy fish. One point is off charging us for the food that we couldn’t eat. I give 2 stars because Garlic Edamame and Eel sushi (extra crispy request) came out lovely. ?
Poor service!The host was impolite and unwelcoming. When I respectfully requested a pen to mark the order, the host literally shouted at me.Please train your staff to treat customers with dignity and a SMILE. I would not suggest this restaurant. There are numerous Suchi bars in Southlake, all of which offer outstanding service and food.
Good spot in Southlake for great sushi without trying to be too trendy. While a small, simpler restaurant, they definitely put 110% into their dishes. We showed up at peak dinner hour on the weekend, and while fully staffed, they were clearly running around, doing so many things at once that we were standing at the host booth for a few minutes before being acknowledged. Once we were seated, however, they never forgot about us...every few minutes, a server would check on us, refilling our drinks. I wanted to try something traditional and something unique to them, and both did not disappoint. The California roll was creamy and delicious, the rice cooked perfectly. I went with the Carroll roll for a new flavor, and for a low-carb, rice-free option, it was fantastic...I loved the mix of fish and shrimp, and the sauce made everything, including the cucumber outside, really pop.
I love this place. Best sushi anywhere, the tempura roll is godly. Its a frequent date night spot for us and we will never stop going. The service is amazing, fast and the food is even better
This place has great sushi! Good selection and variety. Can get handrolls if that is your preference. Besides sushi, there are other Japanese favorites. This is a quaint restaurant. Staff is personable. I will be back to eventually sample all the sushi on the menu.

Edit. This place has become the restaurant to stay away from for delivery drivers. They never use the option to add more time to the pick-up time so drivers show up when they're supposed to but then end up waiting at least half an hour for the food. CHANGE THE TIME ON THE TABLET so we aren't losing money because of you. And if we're going to wait because you didn't do what you're supposed to, GIVE US AN ACCURATE WAIT TIME. Not only that, since they aren't able to press a simple button on the delivery tablet, their customer still thinks they'll be getting their food delivered from the time they were quoted when they ordered. It screws everything up for everybody except the restaurant. I mean what do they care, right? They're still getting paid either way.Bottom line: If you like their food, go eat there. Don't have it delivered or you could be waiting for an hour and a half or longer.
