Good food. Very friendly service (owner even was friendly and visited the table). Best wine list in town (BYOB). What else could you want? We will DEFINITELY be back!

This is our favorite restaurant! And our server Jona is amazing, even remembering our favorites!! One of the best aspects is my sugar rarely spikes when I eat here, which keeps me coming back. This is a big deal for me since at most other restaurants I am limited to meat and vegetables to keep my sugar in check. For some reason, I’m thinking it’s their quality of ingredients, I can eat a Caesar salad, lasagna, and even a few bites of cheesecake and stay within my allotted levels. Our favorite meals are definitely the Lasagna and Chicken Marsala. For a low carb option they will provide a nice assortment of vegetables perfectly done instead of the noodles. For dessert we often get the cheesecake dusted with powdered sugar and a generous amount of strawberries. Support this local, small business!!

It’s probably better than average, but it is spotty and depending on what you eat, you will be pleased or surprised that it wasn’t what you expected. The pizzas are excellent. And a great appetizer if you get a simple margarita pizza. The chicken dishes are very good also, as I’ve had a few. But maybe the worst meatballs I’ve ever eaten . And this is a staple for the genre. I will try them again and hope for better. I can find plenty of reasons to go, judge for yourself. They are very nice people and we want to support local. Their prices are fair, and it’s byob. I’d love better bread than what they serve.

Amazing food and quite possibly the best Tiramisu my family and I have ever had. The restaurant seats about 45 max but it’s well worth the wait to enjoy the great service and fantastic food. The owners are always present and they genuinely care about every diner’s experience. You should also treat your kids (or yourself) to their Nutella Pizza. BYOB is also great.

This is a mostly reliable neighborhood BYOB joint with good food and generous portions. Not every experience here is 5 stars, but they’ve been good to us over the years. Menu and service were both better before the pandemic but this is still a very easy choice for a simple night out.

Today my family of five went to dinner at Ristorante Mulino. Two adults, a 9 mo old, a 3 yr old and a 6 yr old. We ordered two kids noodles entrees and two bowls of soup for the adults. After 10 -15 minutes the adults soup came, with a warning that the noodles would take “a few minutes longer”. After about another 10-15 minutes we said we needed to go (bed time for little kids). I asked for the check of the food we were served and to cancel everything else. They asked if we wanted to wait for our kids food to go or to have it taken off of our bill. I said, the time has passed I am not paying for those meals they are too delayed. The proprietor came to apologize and said the kids meals would be out in 5 minutes. They were. My two older daughter began eating their meals. I had waited to eat my soup for our entire family to have their food which had turned cold, so I sent it back. The same proprietor came by to say that she had kindly taken the soup off of the bill. I replied with, as I told the waiter when we needed to leave, I’m not paying for the kids meals that took 30 minutes. The soup which came in a reasonable time frame I will. She said “well then” “I’m taking the food back”. She then proceeded to literally take the forks out of our 6 and 3 yr olds hands and removed their plates, which they were mid bite on. My 3 year old started crying because she was hungry and had never experienced someone taking food away from them. I’ve never had someone treat my children so rudely over noodles and an error that they created. Pictures below are of my child crying after having the food taken from her and the proprietor who took the fork out of her hand and the plate out from in front of her. Families of Southlake, dine at your own risk! Unfortunate too because we had so many prior wonder experiences there.

I had the mushroom raviolis. They tasted fine but instead of sauce they were bathing in basically water. The place is very small and cramped.

Wife & I had dinner there, our first visit there. It didn't take long to figure out why it stayed packed. Appetizer, dinner & dessert were amazing. We can't wait to explore the menu of this small treasure. Blessings!

Always good to dine in or carry out. We love that we can bring our own bottle of wine to enjoy with our meal. The lasagna is the best!

What a quaint fantastic Italian restaurant and another hidden gem. The food is freshly prepared and portions are big. Service is fantastic and very attentive. We came to celebrate our 6 year olds birthday dinner and they treated her like a princess. The owner came out to ask how things were showing how he cares for his business. Give this place a try for great service and incredible food.
