From the minute we were seated our needs were anticipated. Rodrigo our waiter was so helpful and informed about the menu, and patient in helping us choose. Angel the manager clearly loves his restaurant, enjoys explaining the Mesero concept, its decor and the ingredients in the various sauces, etc. Oh and the ginger peach tea is delightful!
I have given this places two chances now. My first time here was for a birthday dinner with family. My order was taken first but never made, my family was almost done with their meals before I even got mine. Not to mention I felt like a sardine in a sardine can....so crowded. So much wait staff yet so much bad attitude. I gave them another try yesterday because my friends wanted to meet for dinner, same crowded feeling and bad attitudes. I'm pregnant so I wasn't really interested in Mexican food at the moment so I just ordered their Rose Burger....when it finally came the bun had mold spots on it. So I couldn't even eat my food. And there was no way to even flag down the waiter because they would come by for a split second and before any of us could ask for anything else they would disappear. Just awful. I had really high hopes for this place.
Don’t bother. The queso is cheez wiz, the quac is only one smashed unripened avocado and the brisket tacos are super salty, watery and chewy. Microwaved Mexican at its finest for high Southlake prices.
Very loud inside. Wait staff was not real attentive. Had 4 hostess that were not really busy who could have helped if they were short handed. Ordered fajitas. Generous amount of chicken but was quite dried out. Instead of 4 full sized tortillas, brought 4 street size tortillas, and didn't. One back for a while so no chance to ask for more. Also, if you are not a drinker, beware. They sell soft drinks by the can. I probably won't be back.
New location and same delicious menu as other locations I’m familiar with. Beautiful interior and great bar as focal point but my original margarita just did not taste right and when I asked for a small espresso coffee I got a huge coffee cup. But all with friendly service. I recommend the salmon tacos and the ahi nachos because that’s what we had and very good!
Service was great, salsa fresh, and the salmon tacos wow!!! I am glad I tried the blackened fish tacos as well but those salmon tacos hit one outta the park. Our group loved all their dishes. Excited to come back.
The braised pork was really really yummy. It didn't need a knife, just fell apart. Really tender. The ceviche was super fresh and yummy, too. We finished off with a Cinco leches (not tres, cinco!) And it was phenomenal and HUGE
Ate here last week after their grand opening, everything was immaculate, from the scenery to the service, thoroughly end to end. Even got some FaceTime with the general manager because he was making sure to visit with every table in there.
Great service and food is just amazing!
Had the pleasure of dining at this new location. I ended up leaving with a candle and a cake, both being cinco-leches! ?Don’t get me started on the staff, they address you by name and you can tell they are happy to be there. The level of hospitality shown within these walls is unmatched. Management checks in with each table just to be sure the experience is satisfactory. I understand why this is so many peoples favorite restaurant!
