Every Friday, seriously, every Friday for the past 10 + years, I dine at this restaurant with my wife and daughter. I may miss a Friday every once in awhile, but if I do, I come in on Saturday because I never want to miss out on my favorite meal for the week. The pizza is amazing. Even my daughter who never liked pizza before this year is finally eating pizza here. The reason why? The staff and owner. Their world class service providing options for my picky child over the years got her to come around from eating not just their great pasta and homemade marinara sauce, but to exploring a dairy free pizza with meatballs. During the height of pandemic, this restaurant still provided world class service even if it was great food to-go only. The entire crew at coal vines is what makes the food even better. Whether I am just with my family or when I bring in larger parties to dine in, the service and the food never changes. It's the best! It just got even better with a full bar menu that compliments it's stellar wine selection. Keep up the great work Eric! Your staff and the food have never let me down, EVER! Looking forward to my next Friday night!
I would love to tell you how wonderful the food is here, but we didn't get that far. When my family of four entered, excited to try the amazing looking pizzas they feature, a middle-aged gentleman who had manager vibes was bussing a table. With a bit of a harried air, he said he'd be right with us. Several other staff walked by, studiously avoiding eye contact. When he finally got back to us, he said, "it'll be about a 15-20 minute wait. Maybe less. Probably less." In the next twenty minutes, at least a half dozen parties left and at least half a dozen parties (maybe three 4-tops) were seated. I kept making excuses. I'm sure they had a reservation. It's probably a family friend. We were the only group waiting outside the entire time. At close to minute 25, we watched a table being cleared as a new group of 4 walked in from their car. A waiter started opening the front door, presumably to call us in, but through the window, we saw the middle-aged gentleman point to the couple who had just walked in and they were seated. We left. I don't understand why we were so rudely treated, but we will not be back. It sucks because the pizza really did look and smell delicious. The worst of it is, it could have been completely saved by one tiny sympathetic, "I'm sorry, we had a lot of reservations." We would have patiently waited an hour if they had kindly communicated.
Place was crowded and we were told it would be about 15 mins.We waited for 20 mins and saw them sit several parties over and over skipping us.After the 4th group sat down at a table while we waited outside we just left.It is very frustrating to invest time in waiting patiently just to be passed over.
Food was fantastic. Vodka pie was exceptionally good. We all look forward to the next visit.
Coal Vines has great food, atmosphere and service. The wine selection was wonderful. Definitely recommended!
You gotta try the vodka sauce pizza. It's great.
The pizza is good. They have nice outdoor seating.

We were not planning on going here but saw the great ratings and this place more than lived up to it. Friendly service that seemed family operated, pizza and pasta was great! All around great family or date place!
Darn fine pizza melt in your mouth. Wonderful upper class restaurant and they are kid friendly!!!! Like wow had my 7 month old nefew there and they were very inviting and had such a nice visit
