This was a really fun place to go to. It's right on the beach in South Padre island. They had live music. The food was very very good. Extremely casual. Virtually nobody was stressed up lots of people just in their bathing suits and flip-flops. Real nice comfortable place to go for a good meal that's pretty recently priced. I would definitely recommend this place.

Packed bar, tired bartenders. I ordered 3 rum runners. They were not good. They weren't even reddish pink. They were brown. We didn't drink them. A waste of $35.00. I may give them a second chance to redeem themselves but after that, I'll spend my money elsewhere.

The check in process was very flawless and the clerk was extremely friendly. The hotel is truly a beachfront. You walk down the steps and then less than 100 feet away you are on the sand. The bar and grille had wonderful servers as well. Nothing but smiling faces. My room was clean. There is a fridge that is a little bit bigger than what you normally get in a hotel. There are dishes and you can request a hot plate and pans. There is also a microwave. I do recommend bringing your own toiletries. There will not be enough product. I would also recommend having a bucket of water outside of your door to clean feet of sand before coming in. Luckily there is also a broom to sweep up sand. I put a beach towel down for our feet. They do not allow you to take their towels for the beach. I am not sure why anyone would anyway. Bring your beach towels.

Their fries and shrimp are delicious! The shrimp sauce is tangy and a bit spicy but still good. The fish has a nice breading. Went with family and everyone was very pleased. The nachos are so good, if you're into creamy cheese not the usual cheese sauce and their chips are great too. My aunt loved her burger and everyone really enjoyed the nachos. My cousin said the ceviche was good not great. Over all delicious food! Environment is very chill. Live band was great. If you're there to chat with your table, sit away from the band because it is a bit too loud if you're seated in the area where they are set up.

I’ve stayed at Wanna Wanna now three times and each time the check in process is so seamless. I love that this time we’re on the first floor because it’s closer and easier access to the beach bar. I want to especially appreciate Alexa for being so kind in the check-in process. The world would do good with having more Alexa’s in customer service. You never know who you can impact just by being polite.

This place is great! We didn't hear about it until last minute so we weren't able to stay at the hotel. We rented some chairs and an umbrella right on the beach and it was so relaxing! The drinks are AMAZING!!! They have live music and the food was very well priced and tasted good. Will definitely be back!!

We had the fried shrimp and fish, and both were great. Some of the best fries on the island as well! As seen in other reviews, tarter sauce is certainly heavy on the horseradish. I thought it was tasty, but if you don't like horseradish, leave it alone. Do NOT leave without getting a Pina colada, without doubt the best one I've ever had!!

This is a good beach bar on the gulf. Very popular with good drinks, particularly their pina colada. The food is awful. The worst on the island. Do not even serve local fish. Cheeseburger was terrible. Cannot add much. Great location for a bar. Too bad about the food

Everything you would want from a beachfront bar and grill. Unpretentious hangout with fast counter service. I got the fried shrimp and would definitely get it again. Some of the more reasonable prices on the island as well. Live music is a great addition that pushes this place to 5 stars. Well done, y’all.

Just had lunch here and loved it. Great beach views and local vibe. Prices are reasonable and food is tasty. Next time I will ride the shuttle bus so I can have a few more wanna wanna drinks.
