We decided to try this restaurant because of the wide variety of food options. Our waiter was amazing so kind and attentive. The food was great!
Food was really good and so was the service. Went in on a Tuesday afternoon and got sat right away.Wife loved the civeche. Turkey club was real good and my son devoured the grill cheese.As with anything now days it is a little pricey but that is expected unfortunately.
Not sure of the reviews are real or fake. The restaurant is dirty and looks old. The stone floors are heavily soiled. The Mac n cheese tasted old. I let it sit for 3 min and the top got hard. The ribs were unseasoned and bland. I asked the waiter about the brisket on the online menu. He said he's been there 3 years and never served it. Not a good experience. The two stars are for the military discount.
We ate at Tom and Jerry’s twice while on the island and between the 5 of us got chicken fried steak, Mac and cheese, fried okra, ribeye, mashed potatoes, grilled veggies, cheese burger, tacos Reynosa, corn bites, Buffalo chicken sandwiches, the shrimp BLT, onion rings and fries and fettuccine Alfredo. All of it was good. The portion sizes are huge, the food is all made fresh and I’m house and all of it was good tasting. I wouldn’t get the pasta but my son liked it. I’m picky about steaks so that’s not my go to either but the tacos, chicken fried steak and burgers were all very good.
It's been a while since my wife and I had been to T& J's and It'll be a while before we go back. Fajitas were tough, beans and rice were room temperature even after sending them back. Beer wasn't cold. The restaurant was loud and service was just okay then they added a 4% surcharge to the bill for credit card use and we paid cash. I tried not to go off on the waiter but he asked and I apologize to him. He didn't make the food or chill the beer. Hopefully you all will have better luck.
Omg, we had the best dinner tonight. Our waiter Juan made it a great experience and went way above our expectations. We will definitely be back and will request him.
Its not horrible, its not great, wouldnt call it really good either... just average. Everything fried... its not a seafood place.. plenty better places to eat.
Food and service were great!! We all had shrimp and oysters!! Fried pickles were delicious and the jalapeño sauce amazing!! Also the Mac and cheese!!! Fabulous!!! Fun place for couples!!! Ruben was awesome!!!
Lunch was amazing we had the fried shrimp with loaded baked potato and the red snapper fried everything was delicious ? recommend eating here friendly staff as well
Really enjoyed our experience here tonight! The food was delicious on its own, but our server really just topped it all off. His name is Reuben, and if he’s your server you’re in for a treat. He gave fantastic recommendations based off of our preferences, and ended up making our meal 100x better than it probably would’ve been if we had ordered what we originally planned to. We recommend ordering his recommended burger and beer choices, as they were amazing!
