This place was delicious ?. We ordered the breakfast tacos and tried their fresh lemonade. The man that took our order was very kind and knowledgeable. We'll definitely return in the future. We also have a business on SPI and wanted to support a local business. So happy we did ?
The reason I gave them 3 stars is based on dirty (food on the floor and dirty tables) appearance inside the restaurant.The tacos were decent the red salsa is good if you are looking for something more spicy.The beans have good flavor but the portion is very small for the price.$3 for a can of soda seems excessive in my opinion.

Leslie was awesome! She helped make my perfect taco experience even better as as far as the island expectation!Customer service is great food was even better if you need a late night fixer-upper this is the place to go! Danny is a great manager and you’ll be taken care of
Today’s experience at taquitos locos was by far not the best, not even decent. The food was cold, meat was chewy and tough. Beans tasted stale and not cooked correctly. My own daughter got sick from the food. The server did not check on our table only when it was time to serve the food and that was it. The added tip to our bill was not what it should of been (20% added gratuity). One of the worst mexican restaurants I’ve been too. I do not recommend this place. It was supposed to be a nice dinner for my husbands birthday but was not happy at all. Should of asked for my money back… -10 stars.
Service was okay but the prices are very out of hand for the portions of food you receive as well as the quality of food so if you’re on a budget or don’t plan to spend a lot this is not the place to be. Ordered tacos de bistek and the meat tasted old and dry, the sautéed onions you could tell were days old very slimy/soggy. We also ordered the papa with everything including meat and for $12 we were expecting a good size papa we were completely wrong it was basically some tasteless mashed potatoes served in a very small salsa bowl!!! Very disappointed would not go again or recommend.
I wish the manager would teach the workers how to properly answer the phone. They answer in Spanish and if you speak English then they hang up on you. I called back three times and they just say hello and hang up they don't even say the business name. Never had a problem with this in the past but it's definitely gotten worse. It's easier just to go elsewhere. My last couple orders it seems like they put less and less meat in the tacos every time and give you less juicy limes. Expect to spend $30 on one meal because you need to buy a few meals just to have a meal.
If I could give this place a ZERO star rating, I honestly would. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place at all food is too expensive for the size & I’ve seen a lot of better taco places with better quality taste. The charro beans were absolutely DISGUSTING!!!! Smelled like they were going bad had an AWFUL smell. I know what real Mexican charro beans are supposed to taste like and these were NOT IT. The waitress that served our table gave us HORRIBLE SERVICE did not check in on us at all maybe once or twice the max. She never smiled or anything & kept a bitter stank face. She for sure DID NOT DESERVE THE 20% (26.00) tip that was added for the gratuity. SO MUCH FOR A FIRST IMPRESSION ON THE SERVICE & QUALITY OF THE FOOD. NEVER AGAIN WILL I EVER EAT HERE. THE WOST MEXICAN RESTAURANT I HAVE EVER BEEN TOO I CANT STRESS IT ENOUGH…they charged us $177.17 for 8 PEOPLE this bill would be understandable for Texas Roadhouse, Olive Garden, Chili’s, cheddars & other expensive restaurants. The prices were not it, ESTA MUY CARO PARA LA CALIDAD DE COMIDA.
If I could give this a zero star rating I would have. My husband took the family to go eat at this particular restaurant. It was horrible. Fat male waitress was very rude about us complaining bout the lemonades. The lemonades was just lemon salt and water, it tasted bitter. The green salsa was mostly water and no such flavor. The tacos tasted a bit odd. At the end they still charged us for the lemonade which we didn’t drank at all. This restaurant needs to be shut down cause it’s bad service, food isn’t made right, they still charge you for food/beverages you didn’t consume.. It’s just a shame that they are still open and running.. The Island has to do something about this.. I JUST RATHER CHOKE ON SAND THAN EAT HERE AGAIN…
