Picked up an order as we were short on time but we loved atmosphere and ambience of the restaurant. Outdoor patio area was a plus as well! We ordered a 16” pepperoni pizza and a slice of chocolate cake. Delicious! Cheese tasted wonderful and crust was made just to my liking. Cake was rich and drizzle added to it without making it too much chocolate. Would definitely recommend.
Location and decor were great. Food was delicious. Service was a bit slow. Would absolutely come back. The pasta was incredible.
We came in for dinner. Got the mushroom truffle pizza and sangria. The sangria was refreshing and nice to cool down with after coming from the south padre heat. The unlimited garlic bread and garlic olive oil that comes with it is great. We essily had 5 servings of it.The pizza was tasty, the pizza sauce had pronounced truffle flavor. I wish they didn't skimp on the mushrooms, would have loved more on the pizza.
After dolphin watch boat ride we saw this restaurant on our way back to the hotel. Stop to get a bite . They weren’t very busy . I don’t feel the food lives up to it’s name . We had pizza a few days earlier at Pizza Hut which was 10x better then what I got at this place. It’s very over priced for the skimpy toppings on the pizza.
We ordered a medium margherita pizza split between the two of us…it was the best one we’ve had! The service was exceptional! We sat outside on the covered patio and enjoyed the weather! Just a perfect spot for a perfect meal!!
We had the chicken pizza and it was amazing. The bread with the dipping sauce (complimentary) was also amazing. Large pizza, 2 sodas, and tip was under $35. The ambiance was nice and relaxing and our server Jackie was new but did an amazing job. Food was timely and hot. Will go back again!
We arrived late in the evening and had great service. They served bread and flavored oil to the table when we arrived. Pizza’s arrived pretty fast and were delicious. Cooked perfectly, right amount of toppings and great tasting crust. We had a chicken rustica and a pepperoni and red peppers pizza. Both great. We also got some appetizers, but were not needed because pizzas came out quick and were more than enough.
They're skimpy on the ingredients on their pizzas. They look NOTHING like what's on the pictures on the website. An order of TWO meatballs is $9. That's outragious! That doesn't come w/ spaghetti. After waiting 45 minutes for my order, I was informed that one of the cooks gave two of our items to customers dining in. I asked for a discount since we had to wait 20 MORE minutes & the manager said "no" b/c it hadn't been within the 25-30 minutes I was told when I ordered the food. I told her it had been 40 minutes & that's not the problem. The problem was our food was given to someone else. She mumbled a sorry & that was it! We will NEVER eat there again. So of course the one pizza which wasn't given away was cold by the time we got home. Very poor customer service!! Another complaint is nobody was wearing a hair net. I saw one of the cooks take his arm & wipe his head/hair back. I guess he was sweating. YUK!!
The place was well-attended by locals -always a good sign. We had the chicken parm with spaghetti and the shrimp scampi. Both were very good. We had a nice private booth and were able to distance from others. The staff all wore masks. We shared a cheesecake for dessert. This is an informal place with much pizza take-out traffic but the dining in experience was great.
If you like thin crust pizza, as we do, flavorful and with perfect balance of crust, cheese, and toppings then this is your place. If you like thick, heavy crust dripping with cheese then you might want to try someplace else. Despite the place being very busy, our server Dora was super friendly, helpful and attentive even though we were the only customers that requested to sit outside. The pizza was delicious, and she made us feel welcome and appreciated. It was a win/win and we will be back!
