We went there for Father's Day. It is a great alternative to some of the other Seafood establishments on The Island. The food selection was awesome. Very much elevated bar food. We had a broad range of their food, from Pizza to bacon wrapped shrimp. It was all very excellent.Our waiter Steven was very nice and attentive.The drink selection for beers was not as broad as I expected from a place named 'Brewing Company' but the beers were delicious and cold.We will be back again on our next trip back to the island.
We went here for their beer & it did not disappoint. We sampled their IPAs. Their pizza was also very, very good. And of course we binged on the sea-food! Fried calamari, fried oysters & pizza accompanied by good beer! All in all a great evening!! This was another place where we were promptly seated & the service was attentive throughout. No noticeable wait for food either. Highly recommended if you are into sampling local brews!
Honestly expected more. Maybe I did not explore the menu enough. Split the flounder blackened with my wife and it was taste less. At least the mashed potatoes were good. The kids pizzas were really good. One star is for expecting so much more, but not really living up to the hype. This is not a return place for me. The beers were ok. Great idea just needs better execution.
The parking can be tight here. It's on the main drag. Inside you will find a local brewery with many food choices. our kids love the food here cuz its kid friendly. Its a good place to bring the family. The food is fresh and comes out in a timely manner. The seafood is good, the brews are good and they have upstairs seating that most won't know about. You can bring your catch and have it prepared. They do really good fish tacos with the fresh fish. They can handle groups of eight or ten and the staff is friendly and efficient. I like to sit at the bar and watch sports while eating personally.
Great people,food, and beer! We were only in town for four days but had lunch here twice. Oh, and great prices also! Go try a flight of their beers.
Mid afternoon turned out to be in our favor — quickly seated — quick kitchen turnaround — although frankly the folks living or visiting SPI don’t seem to be in a hurry anyway. Very casual with some limited outdoor seating. Some opt to sit at the bar facing the brewery mechanics. We opted for a traditional table and chairs seating. Good friendly & attentive service staff. Robust menu includes seafood as well as non-seafood offering — like our pizza which we loved. We also ordered two appetizers — crab cakes & stuffed mushrooms — which were tasty. Server helped guide me to a beer (made in-house) that lined up with my normal draft selections. If you’re staying a week on the island and have tired of sunset views and fried shrimp — this venue will take care of your cravings.
I ate outside on the patio with my 2 dogs on a warm May day. Despite being the only ones on the patio, we were constantly checked on. Food and beers were both very tasty!
According to my husband and daughter the flight of beers were very good. The pizza was also good, we ordered it with bacon, and it was generously topped with bacon. The fried pickles were with possibly beer battered and not something I would order again. The cheese curd were good. We also ordered a pretzel, which could have been a little bigger for the price. Service was good, but the waitresses were all over the place.
