I gave one star because I had to put a rating. The food here is horrible enchiladas are basically just chili powder and cheese. The fish and shrimp plate was no good the fish was the size of my palm and you only get one small piece for 13$. The shrimp was over cooked to the point that you couldn't even taste the shrimp.my kids ordered tea that tasted like water with sugar so they asked for a soda instead and I was still charged for the sugar water. Not to mention the 20$ gratuity charge they tack on to your final bill. Definitely no worth the price I personally would never go back NASTY FOOD!

8 people, we had fast service and the place was cleaned decently. The tables were a bit broken, the one we sat at kept tipping. They got our orders wrong, and the place was pretty full. There wasn't much seating, and the place was not organized much. Some of the tables I saw seemed like they were just put wherever they could fit. The food tasted good, but wasn't what my family and I expected. Will most likely not be going back.

Smaller place with excellent service. We went in for dinner to try some place new. It has a sports bar theme with four big TVs. There were four of us and we each tried something different. No complaints at all and everything was good. I was especially impressed with the waiter, who was also the bartender at the time. He was very personable and friendly. Will go back again. PS. Great daily specials at cheap prices.

Fish was old! Soggy. They overcharged us by 20 dollas ? Shrimp was bad and tough.. probably from lunch or dinner the night before. Nothing is home made like the menu says. It was gross. I would recommend going to Los Cabos in port Isabel. They won't cheat you out of your money and they actually have good fresh food.. poor service. Mop water smell. Spent 50 dollars on 2 plates and we both got waters?!!! Our plates cost 12.99 and 9.99 ........ Add that up. Will leave a follow up review tomorrow after we contact the manager. I gave them 2 stars because of the location being on South Padre Island. Nothing else is good about this place besides that.Check out my other reviews to see honest and accurate reviews!

Served 01/21/22Food was much less than average compared to the other named places we found; Louie’s Backyard, Dirty Al’s and Pier 19. The service was poor. Our waitress took our order and checked back once; after our plates had been cleared. The person who seemed to be the manager spent most of her time teaching to small dog to sit on the seat by the restroom, than helping out. Plus this place charges a 3% CC fee, which the others don’t.

I recognize restaurants are facing hiring difficulties at this time but, after a very long wait, dinner arrived with COLD french fries and only slightly warmer fish. After paying $6 for my Stella, we walked out. Hope they're able to get it together. Will try again in the future.

We came here the first time in June 2021. There was a bartender named Nerissa working at the time. She made the experience phenomenal. She was engaging, made amazing drinks and kept the service staff working to get our food out timely. As a result of that great experience, we returned in November 2021. Completely different experience. The bartender stood outside on the back porch. To get refills on our drinks, we had to go to the kitchen to get someone to go outside to get the bartender. And after we finally got refills, she went back outside to visit with a friend outside. Terrible, Terrible Service!!

I know almost everywhere is understaffed right now. I understand this. We have a great deal of patience when dining out because of this. This place isn’t terrible because of low staff count. It is simply terrible. The food is borderline toxic. It’s not that we waited so long for all of our orders to come out or that we didn’t get refills on our drinks. The water tastes like salt and chlorine. The fountain drinks are all watered down. The wings were a bit raw and the nachos were made of mostly canned things? I’m not sure. All of our stomachs hurt now 10 minutes after leaving.

We started out with appetizers had the fried pickles, ceveche, and chips queso and salsa along with the Kraken Pina Colada.. All was really good so we then decided to go ahead and do dinner I had the seafood pasta and my husband had the 8 oz sirloin both meals were delicious . First look at the place I wasn't so sure but the food and drinks were great.. The pina coladas were the bomb.. Probably the best I had that weekend..

The good:No wait, most other restaurants have a wait and you are fighting for parking. At Montana's Kraken we found seating right away. They have an ATM indoorsThe bad:We waiting around for about 5 mins until someone came to seat us. I don't. Think they have a proper hostess.Their Credit/debit card machine did not workThe Ugly:We had the $22 Seafood pasta and the flavor was very pungent, tastes like bourbon or something similarThe drink refills were late
