Great atmosphere, communication could be better. I called them about a week before our dinner to see if making reservations to be seated at a ocean front table for Forth of July was needed and they said “No, first come first serve”. I thought wow sounds amazing. We show up and it is $10 entry fee per person. I was not aware of that anywhere on their website or over the phone so me and my family leave to go to the nearest ATM to take out our money. We return and get seated but not very close to the ocean. I seen many tables available so i asked “Can we get any of those available tables?” and the hosts reply with “Sorry no, those are by reservations” YOU GUYS JUST SAID THERE WAS NO NEED OF ANY RESERVATIONS! That almost ruined the date for me and my fiancé. Overall food was bomb perfect and our waiter was awesome. Had a live group playing country music and they were the best i’ve heard. Had our huge platter out in less than 10 minutes!
The islandcoloda is a delicious and refreshing drink. I had about 3 maybe 4 of these.The peel n shrimp was just as good and refreshing.Perfect for hot days.Will return when we visit the island again..The staff was great.The live music was very entertaining.
The place and the music were great but drinks and food are deficient. It is a nice place to after diner I think, some of our dishes were cold when they get to the table
The food was great! Service was awesome too, we had Carlos and he was so friendly, attentive and fast! Thanks Carlos! Nice environment, really enjoyed the music.
Atmosphere is good. This is a great place for an afternoon lunch. Menu was glorified bar food. Calamari was ok. Shrimp basket was good. Shrimp size did not disappoint. Bahama Mama was very be good. I'd go back but only for mid-afternoon snacks.
The food is, ok, I would not return. What really upset us and friends is that they include a 15% tip on your bill without telling you in advance, therefore when we paid our bill we added a tip, for a total of 30%, not bad for crappy service and ok food. We will not be going back.
Fun bar if u like live music. We were in the area 6 nights and ended up here most of the time when we went out. We saw a couple really awesome bands there. We didn't really eat there except for a small snack so I can't really comment on the food. But it has a fun and lively atmosphere . Stopped in for lunch. Hardly any other customers there. Two servers that didn’t acknowledge my husband & myself. Left and went next door to Lobo Del Mar (excellent!). Will never go back!
Stopped there today Sunday 2/27/2022. Got there at 11:52am and was told no alcohol before noon unless we had food. Went to Lobo Del Mar next door. Lobo had great food and drinks. Friendly bartenders and staff.
