Every time I get to South Padre Island I go hear for breakfast! It's excellent! There is typically a long wait - especially the later you arrive in the morning, but that in itself tells you that it is indeed a very good place. It NEVER disappoints!
Staff/service were amazing (Thanks Jesus!!)! Food was hands down delicious. We got the loaded hashbrowns, lemon blueberry pancakes, a caramel cream breve, and some refreshers. Everything was perfect! Refresher was out of this world too. Also love that they showcase local artists work for sale!! Loved this painting above our table. Great breakfast choice for our trip!!!
We dined here for a casual breakfast after a local resident highly recommended this venue — glad they did — we thoroughly enjoyed our meal & beverages. I order both a custom fruit smoothie and a popular flavored coffee drink — both excellent. My wife & I both enjoyed our breakfast entrees which feel like a mom and pop diner. Waiting area is limited. Expect longer lines and wait times during popular hours and the weekend — but well worth the wait!
We went here for breakfast and the food was pretty good. I had the eggs Benedict but the eggs were way over cooked. They were more like hard boiled eggs instead of poached but it still tasted pretty good. I asked for a side of sausage but they forgot to bring it. The coffee is good and strong. We asked for drinking straws multiple times but they never brought them. We had to go get them from the counter. The place was busy but not extremely busy. Our server was nice.
Great food. Fun and happy local staff. Breakfast and lunch dishes are full of flavor. Hearty serving sizes with lots of taste. Sundays are always crowded.
Our condo was within walking distance to Grapevine Cafe. My husband found this place on day one thankfully. We came here for Coffee everyday. Seriously THE BEST Coffee. We loved their pastries and full breakfast. I try to stay away from Gluten and their menu is full of GF items. This is a must-do kind-of place.
Fast, friendly service! Bright, colorful homemade food. Healthy and gluten free options. Incredible, fresh roasted coffee. Can't say enough about this yummy place!
We only grabbed couple of pastries and coffee and left. The place was full and people were waiting for tables. Coffee was good and sweets too.
Fabulous breakfast! Carlos is an awesome server! The Cinnamon Roll French Toast is very tasty and so is the croissant breakfast sandwich from the Sensible Selections. The service was above and beyond. Will be back for lunch selections.
The Grapevine Cafe is an awesome restaurant! It has a diverse healthy menu with many gluten free options. The food quality was superior. They had the best fish tacos I ever had. The wait staff was excellent. We loved it and will go back again before we leave.
