Ordered a taco via phone order on my way out of the island. They didn’t have it ready and I’m sure they had forgotten about the order cause they looked confused when I got there to pick it up. To their credit they yelled my name and my order a few times to the cooks and I got a steaming hot taco. However it appeared like fake eggs and tasted like egg beaters. But it was an ok tasting taco.
Single GREATEST MIGAS I have ever had. The innards of chips were crunchy crisp and flavorful. The eggs were immaculate- even without cheese. The decorations were seemingly hand made, the staff were amazing and helpful. What a lovely experience this place is♡
I really liked the food, just the price is pretty high. Chorizo and Egg plate, $10.99 + Coke $3.99 + tax. Glad I tried it, just wouldn't recommend for the cost.Also they have a really cool selection of gifts you cN purchase if looking for something different and unique.- Brunch, about 9:30am on a Monday.
Excellent tacos! The barbacoa was delicious as was the al pastor. The bowl of beans, such a simple dish, was done as well as my moms. The sauces weren’t overly hot which is good because I like heat but I don’t like scorching my tongue where you can’t taste the food and you want to enjoy this stuff. Cold beer, great tacos, South Padre in summer… it was awesome!

We started at the food truck... the torta was so amazing that we tried out breakfast at the restaurant the next day... INCREDIBLE! The cheese enchiladas were delicious! Fantastic tacos! We had to go back again before we left Padre! And the manager was wonderful! We just had such a great experience with El Chilango- can't wait to go back on our next visit!
Perfect go to spot when u need something spicy to recover from last night's partying. A little pricey but worth it. Food's delicious and huge portions. Couldn't finish this humongous breakfast taco!
Come hungry or take home left overs! The portions are gigantic... tortillas size of dinner plates and o so tasty!Prices are affordable so eating here daily will not break your budget.
The whole order was wrong then pretended not to speak english when asked for refund food was bad tortillas were burnt. Do not waist your money 88$ for breakfast tacos that were horrible.
