Our family tried this place on our last day of vacation, wish we would of picked a different spot. Service was horrible. Waitress didn’t bring out what I requested on my breakfast plate. Never returned to check on our table or refill drinks. Food arrived cold. Sweet tea is nestle powder. Way overpriced! Cashier didn’t even know what to charge 1 single pancake so she said Um ok 4 dollars. 4 breakfast tacos, 2 egg plates and 1 single pancake was 67.00. (3 waters, 2 coffees, 1 tea and 1 lemonade) Then the up-charge for using a card.
Beware!!! Pick a different place to go, unless your prepared to get screwed. They will nickel and dime you !! They will ask if you want flour or corn tortillas- but fail to tell you that you will be charged 1.99$ per flour tortilla… but hey corn tortillas come with the meal. They also messed up on my order, then proceeded to tell my husband that I ordered it that way- i ordered off the “egg Plate “ menu… and they didn’t put eggs on my plate!! We also asked for sour cream for the baked potato- and butter for the kids pancakes… and they never came. We will not be going back…really poor service and the food is comparable to other local restaurants… so pick a different spot!!!
Súper mal servicio , las meseras no se coordinan , duramos más de una he esperando la comida y ni siquiera era lo habíamos pedido , tuve que pararme a pedir los cubiertos , otras dos mesas que llegaron después de nosotros a ellos los atendió un chico que se llama salvador y el saco su servicio súper rápido y nosotros seguíamos esperando … y para lo que comimos súper carisimo , JAMÁS SUELO DAR opiniones de lugares pero esta vez lo siento
This place put the cherry on top. The breakfast was good don't get me wrong, but when it comes to service they have very little. Almost choked on my tortilla and food cause for the life of me I could not get a refill on on coffee. Come on coffee. To top it off some in prices for side items the don't tell I but look out for that ask if u do. And that's not all when checking out always double, no triple check ur balance cause they are stealing from people. Adding extra charges and tips. South in padre island should look into this.
We were overcharged and the guy adding with the calculator couldn't refund the amount, we were asked to wait until end of business day and we are still waiting!! I asked over and over for them to check the prices and add again. 4 plates (12+11+8+8) and 4 (8) coffees 2 extra tortillas (4), Mexican coke (4) and 1 extra egg (2) for 80 bucks uh no! If you need to see it together here you go: 12+11+8+8+8+4+4+2= 57!! Not even with tax is that 80!! Horrible!
Horrible experience. My family and I were over charged, since they do not give you a receipt with costs per item, they just send it via email with total cost you don’t really know what you are paying for, which is why I guess they take advantage to overcharge, they do not communicate over “additional” costs added. Make sure you watch out for extra charges, even though we were a big group we only realized because my husband is an accountant and he is good with numbers, but they do it in such a “subtle” way that you may not catch it. The person in charge has zero customer service skills, she was rude and discriminative even though they knew they were incorrect, obviously she had to return our money that was overcharged because we literally had to do calculations using a calculator with her and she realized she was wrong and still had the audacity to treat us wrongfully and didn’t even receive and apology. Also, she was racist by saying to my husband “maybe in Mexico theu charge you differently” which my husband responded by telling her I don’t live in Mexico, I live here! How freaken dumb can a person be to make such assumptions, even though we do have a Mexican background and well spoken in Spanish because it is our native language, that shouldn’t give you an assumption of what we know or don’t, since we do live here, we do know costs and charges, this is called racism, and being that she was a Spanish speaker as well, makes it even worse. I never leave extensive reviews but this place deserved it. Overall, don’t go to this place, even if the food is decent this unethical actions leave for a horrible experience.
Would not recommend. Owner or manager treated our waitress horrible in front of our table. She creeped up behind our waitress while she was taking our order and told her something along the lines she was taking too long and needed to hurry up with her customers etc… The toned she used made everyone very uncomfortable. No one should be spoken to the way she spoke to her employee. So sad to see. Horrible. Horrible. Horrible.
Lástima de buena comida, la cajera con pésima actitud de servicio, no te dan ticket, te estafan y cuando uno pide aclarar las cuentas se puso a gritarnos, ella jamás en actitud de una disculpa porque ella hizo algo mal (porque si lo hizo, no tiene porque cobrarnos demás, 15 y 20 dólares) al contrario con una actitud grosera... no volvemos.
The food was pretty good.. It seemed like it took forever to get though. I wasn't super impressed with the service
