They actually open at 11am - not at 10am as stated on Tripadvisor. The gelato was passable. The coffee is absolutely terrible. They have bags of Lavazza coffee decorating the store, so we had hopes. No dice. Horrible. I am staring a two $6-cups of sludge and wondering how to dispose of them safely.
I have seen Dolce Roma many previous visits on the island and always wanted to stop for a gelato. Today, we were biking and thought it would be a nice treat on our way back to our condo. There is some type of construction going on inside the store. The store was dirty, probably from the constrution work, and smelled bad. We should have left. I don't know if we purchased gelato or ice cream. It was OK, but not great. The credit card machine wasn't working, so had to wait, holding our melting icecreams, for the machine to finally process the charge. It's expensive. The smallest cup was $4.97. We left the store and ate the chocolate brownie ice cream on the concrete steps outside. We won't be back.
definitely not gelato, barely ice cream, and the free water had dirt in it so yeah… i’d recommend going to dairy queen or mcdonald’s for a soft serve

Its a shame to call this Italian Ice Cream. You can see some Flavor melted almost running on the bottom. I got coffee and mango. My wife Coffee and Nutella. The coffe felt like freezer burn gritty like and with the little spoon scrapping the top you could ear scrapping sound. Awful. Service!!! Two kids talking. No hello, no thank you, no goodbye no nothing talking all the time. Dirty glass door entrance. In the end my Wife throw here's away.
Fail on the gelato. Taste like Chinese buffet soft serve, ice and all.

Really terrible gelato! It was icy and flavorless, expensive also! They also had ice cream, which looked a little better, but we only tried gelato.
Clean facility, fast service and wonderful flavors.
First time trying Italian ice cream, it is delicious. Nice atmosphere and the young lady working the counter was awesome.
