I stumbled upon this place while on the island and ended up visiting it multiple times. It's a cozy little restaurant with a friendly atmosphere and they are wrapping up some pretty darn good burritos made with fresh and mostly locally-sourced ingredients. Tried the breakfast burrito on my first trip then had to come back the next day to try them out for lunch. This is some authentic Mexican food, and it will definitely fill you up. And if you are looking for some spice, they have add-ins that will kick up the heat (the Salsa Verde is a must). If you happen to be on the island, I highly recommend checking out Burrito Express (and their food truck) for some good food, friendly people, and great local flavor.
Great Tex-Mex build your own restaurant! The food was fresh, and made from scratch. it was so good!!! The service was great too.
My husband and I decided to try for the first time and were hooked! We came back multiple days in a row for more and to try other things lol! Great service and good ❤️
The best thing that happened at this place is when the girl decided not to give me my food because i had to keep asking her if the salsa verde was made iwith tamatillo she kept replying its green and spicy. In perfect english and very rudely she kept repeating the red is mild and the green is spicy and would not answer the question. After asking for the manager she complained there was a sneeze guard, their music was too loud and it echoed so she could not understand what I was asking and told me I did not know how ask a question. She also told me she was the manager and after thanking her for helping me to decide to not to frequent this establishment she would let her boss know. I was looking forward to this place as i had a good experience there last year. Now if SPI had Qdoba it would save you 40 % and employees would know how the food is made and not be allowed to be rude to the customers with out consequences. Becareful of this place if you have any food allergies.

it was the best tasting food I ever had especially at the island very very very blessed place to go eat I recommend it to everyone.
Honestly, the worst food I have had in years. It was so poorly prepared and served I through THE ENTIRE MEAL in the trash. Everything is sitting in warmers, at sub par temperatures, the rice wasn’t soft, the tortilla was stale, he dumped hot water in my beans directly in front of me. The beef left a film in my mouth from how much grease the poor kid spooned into my overpriced burrito. It was completely dead quiet when we entered the establishment, so I jokingly said “you need a radio” he proceeded to blare religious music so loud we couldn’t complete our order without yelling. Absolutely AWFUL. There are better ways to support this ministry.

The owner Cam was a very friendly man. The build your own breakfast burrito was great. Nothing negative to say about the place customer service or food. Would highly suggest this place.
