Tried it and not impressed at all. Ordered crab rangoons and didn't get them...they did give me sweet and sour sauce and an egg roll so... Wife said the egg drop soup was so bad she didn't eat it. My sesame chicken and her cashew chicken were ok. My son said the broccoli chicken was soupy. It's edible but not great. Very similar to the Asian restaurant in Anna.
Not the best that I've had. Sesame chicken and the fried dumplings are really good. Didn't care for the egg rolls or orange chicken (which has NO sauce by the way) So the orange chicken went in the trashed which really made me mad because we TWO orders or it! How do you serve Orange chicken WITHOUT the ORANGE SAUCE??!! and the beef wasn't great either. Also the rice has no flavor, noodles are OK. Portions are small compared to other Chinese restaurants. I would much rather have the choice to order the entrees without the rice or noodles. Also BEWARE of the online pricing it is NOT correct which ended up costing my family over $20 more for our online to go meal.
Got the chicken fried rice, cashew chicken and crab rangoons. All were excellent. So happy to have a fast food pace in Sherman besides Panda, and it’s better than many dine in places even in Dallas.
The protein portion of the 2 different meals I got was absolutely delicious and fresh. I got orange chicken and my daughter got sesame chicken. The fried rice I got was plain and didn't have much flavor though, and the portions were a little small. For the price, I was still hungry when I finished eating. I sampled my daughter's noodles and they seemed pretty tasty.
Our food is usually pretty good. Last 2 times my order was incorrect. I don't eat mushrooms and asked that it not be included in my food. Got home with my order and found mushrooms.Food is always fresh and hot. I order online and if there is a line when I get there ,they have me pull around and bring it out to me so my doesn't set there and get cold.
This place is a real hidden gem. I'll get the only critique I have out of the way with the lo mein and fried rice having no vegetables cooked with them by default. Maybe that's on me for expecting them. (though after eating my noodles I grew to be fine with no extras, as they'd take up space rightfully dedicated to the main part.)I had the sesame chicken, and it was absolutely divine. Idk if I got lucky with how fresh my food was, but it was all piping hot and the chicken's breading was still nice and crispy. I was worried at first that the servings seemed a little small, but it is safe to say after eating all that was packed into the bento, they did not skimp out on any of the food. What a lovely experience and aesthetic the menu and building give off. Definitely recommend, Sherman natives!!
The owners are so nice! I love eating at Wok Xpress. No, it is not high end food but come on, for the price what do you expect? It is good, flavorful and large portions. The place is clean. I eat here 1-3 times a week and I will keep going.
I ordered online and the website said it would be ready for pick up in 15 minutes, when I got there they did not have anything for me, they called the Denison store and northing there either. I could not remember what all was ordered so I just left. Now we are very hungry and there closed for the night. I will not ever do that again. No need to respond with the same customer service number response you give all the bad reviews, that just shows you give no thought to the bad reviews. To be fair, it did not show on my bank statement so I was not charged for it.
This place is fantastic. Great portions and amazing taste. Reccomend to everyone.
This place is very good the staff is very friendly. Food is very traditional good price good flavor. I will be back
