I ordered the Lingonberry Swedish Pancakes the first time and they were wonderful. The next week I ordered them, they were AWFUL. First time pancakes were served on a dry plate with LOTS of berries on top. Delicious. The second time the Lingonberry pancakes were served in over a quarter inch of some type of red liquid. The consistency was like water and in NO way was it thin syrup. I got no syrup or red water the first time. The second time there were literally 5 berries that were mashed on top. Lingonberry pancakes without Lingonberries and pancake would have been a soggy mess. The waitress said I was wrong and that they're always served in red water with no berries. She said the manager was on vacation. So, I waited a couple of weeks and tried to get the manager yesterday morning. They didn't want to tell me the manager's name (she finally said Mike). She wanted me to tell her why I was calling, then she set the phone down to get Mike. I heard talking, then she told me he wasn't there and I had to call after 3 PM when he would be there. It turns out they close at 3 PM and they didn't answer the phone. I only wanted to know which way was normal so I would know whether to order them again or not. Since I was called a liar by the waitress when I questioned the second order and the manager is dodging me when I had no complaint, just a simple question, I will never go back.
There aren’t many breakfast or brunch places in Sherman so thought I’d give this one a try. Ordered the biscuits and gravy. They looked appealing at first then tried them and the biscuits were so dense and doughy covered in flour on top I could barely eat them. The hash browns were ok just needed flavor, and gravy was ok as well just not hot temperature wise. The place was dated, I’m honestly not sure how they are staying in business? I hope the food and vibe gets better for them, I really do. But for two plates/meals and two cups of coffee it was $27. Very overpriced and it would be better to stay at home and save some money by making your own breakfast.
HOLY MOLY! This place was incredible! Michelle was my server, and she went above and beyond. I can't wait to go back!I had to try the sweetberry crepes! They were incredible!
I had breakfast at sweet berries for the first time. The food was delicious , I ordered a skillet with a homemade biscuit. It’s a large portion, I couldn’t finish it all but it was very good!! The service was good, regardless of being very short staffed. They only had two servers and one host, making it nearly impossible to give exceptional service. You could tell there was atleast 20+ tables, making those servers each take about 10 tables at once. They were doing a hell of a job. Be patient with them, there is a shortage of staff nationwide. I will definitely be coming again, thank you ladies !
Had a good experience the people are great there very helpful as of what Michelle bowling wrote however was a complete lie. There was an argument not a fist fight it was resolved but being in danger over an argument lady get your story straight me and my family have been up here plenty of times and never have we seen a fist fight break out I seen the argument and know that you was not in any danger due to the fact there was no fist fight this place is family oriented and the owners are very awesome people who care about their customers and people are going to argue no body is perfect and things happen but next time you go to making a false report make sure that you can back up what you are saying and quit lying be honest on your review
Soooo yummy! Went for the first time and definitely will be coming back, the Crepes??? ?SO GOOD! The hot chocolate was delicious as well! (pls mind though that hot chocolate has no free refills though lol) But everything was yummy!!
Come here a couple times and every time the food has gotten worse. My hash browns came out in a puddle of grease and my new hash browns were barely cooked. Most the food doesn’t even seem fresh, looks like most of it comes from a can. The mushrooms and chicken were rubbery. My omelette was super bland, no flavor anywhere. Once we turned back the food the service just went down, didn’t offer anything afterwards. Best part of my visit was the biscuit and jelly.
I went around 1130ish. The place was not packed which is fine by me. I did have to wait about 5 - 7 minutes to be served. The silverware is cheap looking coffee was not hot. That being said the staff was very friendly & full of conversation. They made you feel comfortable. The food is delicious and you get what you pay for. I like that the syrup is warm. Will I come back? Of course!
2nd time there. I ordered chicken Florentine, and it was made with dark meat instead of white. The mushrooms were terrible. We also ordered the steak omelet with hash browns. Hash browns came out very greasy. The waitress replaced with hash browns that looked like they were half cooked. This place was recommended but they even said you lost their quality. Sad, because we eat at many places and always give a rating since we have a cooking page.
I’m raving about Sweetberries to EVERYONE I know! We were greeted the moment we walked in the door by the most precious lady who quickly sat us and made us feel like family. Our waitress was just as fun and friendly. She was attentive and on top of all of our needs. The pancakes were top notch! They have done a great job at providing a clean and friendly atmosphere! This will be our spot every time we are back in the area!
