The Pollo Loco is awesome. Staff is professional and friendly.
Food tasted great and the service was impeccable. The restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere for those who want to dine in with a few friends or you can pick it up and go home or back to the office.
Totally underrated gem. Great service and our food was delicious. Not sure what the other people on these reviews had but for us we will definitely be back here.
If I could give our visit a 3 1/2 I would. It was our first time and some things I liked and others I didn’t. My husband liked his meal, it was a Pork Tamale Plate with Chili and Eggs ?. He said he would give it a 4, he thought the tamales and chili were good. We both liked the beans, not my favorite, but by far not my least favorite. We both liked their Hot Sauce and would give it a solid 4, I really enjoyed eating it, it was pretty much my favorite thing. My husband liked their Green Salsa the most and would give that a 4 1/2.I was disappointed in my tamale selection. We drove about 1 1/2 hours one way and I was looking forward to their Sweet Potato ? Tamale, but did not have any available. I also asked for a Brisket Tamale , but they had none of those available either. I was told they had pork, chicken, and spinach tamales to choose from so I settled for a spinach one. I did not like it and gave the rest to my husband, the masa tasted like blueberries to me. ?♀️I did get two breakfast tacos ? and I liked the No. 4, Potatoe, Cheese ? and Potatoes one. I would give them a 3, that tasted very average to me. I got a Spinach Breakfast Taco and did not like that at all, I’d probably give it a 1 1/2 or 2.The waitress was pleasant and there were no problems there. I’m glad my husband enjoyed his plate and I really did enjoy the hot sauce.

The Denison location is awesome! Wonderful food, friendly staff, quick service. Took my Nana and she liked it. I recommend the breakfast burritos.

The last time we purchased tamales they were very dry and tasteless. We decided to give them another chance as they are normally delicious. We purchased 2 dozen tamales, chicken and jalapeño beef, they were awful; no taste and very dry again. So disappointed as this was always our go to place for tamales. We won’t be returning.
Just left ordered breakfast, waited five minutes for our chips and hot sauce, was told it does not come with breakfast anymore, by the owner he said it cost money now, $1.99, told him we did not know that could we get a free pass on today’s chips and hot sauce without breakfast he said no, so we said no cancel our order, and we are out of there, never to return lost our business for $1.99, he said they don’t make enough money on breakfast, I say as a former business owner then don’t be open for breakfast. Some people don’t see the forest for the trees, Don’t know if I just put my name in there but my name is Kevin Pierce
This is the only place that has breakfast burritos/taco in the area. The food is great, no complaints here. Also the owner, and staff are very friendly. They always have a clean restaurant, and also the service is fast, and food is fresh! Lupe's Deserves a 5 start rating compared to the other places around here! ?
