Food wise not to good.. I hate to say this but i wasted more food than i ate.. Salad bar was the worse.. Asked to set out more dressing all i got was ask the other lady. Yeah there wasnt another lady... Wont visit here again. Sad to say but it was very blah. Our waitress was good she was very helpful. Also the lady at the front counter was very nice and sweet unfortunately that was the only two things that was good on our visit.
My husband and I went to dinner here last night and when we first walked in the hostess (dyed redish pink hair heavyset) working the cash register was very rude and had a terrible attitude she made us want to turn around and leave and I wish we had done just that! Our server never filled our drinks until right before we left after eating. It was miserably hot inside the restaurant where you couldn't enjoy your meal plus the potatoes & white gravy had a sour taste to them and the taco meat made my husband sick before we left and he was sick vomiting all night and this morning and had to come home from work due to vomiting, he felt fine before eating their food. We used to enjoy going here but we have officially crossed this place off our list of places to eat! Do better Golden Corral, yesterday was an utter disappointment and managers it is your responsibility to make sure the food is being cooked, displayed and stored properly so your customers don't get extremely sick from eating your food!
I know some people do not like liver but for those of us who do they have good liver and onions almost everything on the buffet is good love the bread pudding banana pudding chocolate pie the bad would be under cooked catfish here ..the last three times we have went catfish was undercooked so as long as you stay away from the catfish it would be good out to eat experience.... given it 5 stars even though the catfish was still raw because everything else was excellent
It was OK. Mac and cheese did not have a strong cheese taste more of the flour gravy taste. I tried a yeast roll and was not like I remember the way they use to make the rools 17 years ago. Salad bar was great, plenty of variety.
Very nice place to eat with the family, food was good, the Staff was very friendly and sweet. The Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the Ladies Restroom was horrible.I understand it's difficult to keep that busy of a restroom in tip top shape. But Frequent cleanings should be worked in.
We went on a Sunday so it was busy with the church crowds but their staff kept up just fine, keeping the food lines full. I forgot how much I loved this place! You can't go wrong with a variety of food choices on the buffet line. They have lots of good desserts as well.
Went their for Dinner .Our first time in that location.Waitress was very nice and attentive. The food was not the greatest.I mean you got a variety .I did like that there were trays in front the grill with variety of meats. Especially the dessert trays were empty and not much of a variety.When it came to the cleanliness I have to say not very good.Food all over the floors. People visiting left such a mess on the table for waiters to clean up.On the way from our table to the bathroom there was so much food all over the floors .The bathrooms were dirty. Toilet paper all over the floors.And the person behind the grill ignored my boyfriend who wanted some ham .So he had to get back in line to get his attention.Overall was not impressed with the place.
It's sad to hear even 1 bad review about such a good business. I Really Like Golden Corral. I frequent 2 out of town. This 1 needs help, Food is below good. I worked Cruise Ships in the Summers. I know food and this is not it.
My favorite place in Sherman. Been bringing my kids here since they were tiny.
Brought my family out for my birthday dinner, actually typing this up as I'm sitting in the restaurant. Hands down, this has been one of the best visits I have EVER had here. The manager was polite, courteous, and funny, and quick to handle any problems that we had, and our server was equally as sweet and endearing. Not only that, but the clerk at the main counter and the gentleman working the grill were so patient with us. I've never really had any complaints about the service or the food here, but more than before, this is, truly, one of best visits ever!!! Thank you all so much for making our visit so enjoyable!
