We eat at Cowboy Chicken at least once a week. It is one of our favorite lunch spots. My mother in law always has the Monterey Salad. My husband loves the chicken meals. Fried okra and macaroni and cheese is what he usually orders. We have tried the Keto bowl and my daughter loves the Durango bowl. The taco and enchilada plate are also very tasty. The chicken is always moist and flavorful. The food is fresh and so tasty. Love that the green beans are not out of a can. The service is always great, friendly and fast. I would highly recommend this place.
Unfortunately we were disappointed with today's visit. The dining room tables were dirty and the food was subpar. The chicken pieces were dry and small. The spinach was cold and we didn't care for the flavor ?
Love the food here. The wings with bbq are amazing. The peach cobbler is ???. The bowls are outstanding as well. Never disappointed. Oh be careful of the jalapeno lemonade ?

The meals we got where- Texas sized garden salad with a side of baked Mac and cheese- keto bowl salad- the lunch plate with Mexican corn- Buffalo sandwich with twice baked potatoes- Texas sized peach cobblerWe enjoyed everything! Friendly service and a clean restaurant. :) just notes about the food, the garden salad has an over powering amount of cucumber, the twice baked potatoes were just okay, and the cobbler was mostly crust. The restaurant was over all great! Would definitely eat there again.
Yall out there fightin’ over Chick-fil-A/Popeye’s when this place has the best chicken sandwiches I’ve ever had. Maybe I’m missing something but I don’t understand how Cowboy Chicken is so underrated. It’s never busy, there’s no wait, the sides are dope. The jalapeño cucumber lemonade is life changing!

Not only did the person at the front fail to acknowledge us, the only people in line, but she also then proceeded to pick her nose in front of us and then roll her findings around in her fingers WHILE STARING AT US.Also, the tables were dirty.I used to like eating here, but this experience was so fowl and disgusting that quite frankly I may never return to any chain ever again.
