Wonderful baked goods, like blueberry muffins and breakfast cookies. And of course the coffee is delicious - I prefer an iced latte with Mexican mocha. Of the coffee chains around here, CJ's is my favorite. Helpful staff, too.
I’m blessed with great local roasted coffee with a drive thru within walking distance of my house so I sometimes unjustly compare other coffee houses who offer drive through but aren’t as efficient.CJs is local. Had a great Americano, nice light roast with no acidity. Perfectly piping hot and great taste. Took just a few minutes and I was back on the road to Dallas.I had stopped at their Denison location first but after waiting a 4-5 min behind 6 cars, I realized I was not going to be happy to sit there 20 min.Though I do trust most food providers who are popular, Starbucks has proven that popularity does mean the coffee is actually good .CJs is worth the wait
I stopped at this location this morning to try them on my way to a meeting this morning. Service was not good. I pulled up to the window and 3 employees standing there talking. In which two of the employees made eye contact with me and just turned right back around and Continued there conversation. Drink was not good at all.
Five out of Five.....This is my impression of CJ's Coffee. Modern but country, great food and not over priced. This is what I call an perfect combination. The ingredients were fresh and paired perfectly. If the location wasn't 35 minutes away from my home, I would go back for lunch:) If your ever in or passing by Sherman Texas, CJ's is a must:)
Just awful! Ordered a cinnamon roll & a ham, cheese, jalepeno croissant. $7.04. Gave the girl $10. Told her I had the change. She says, "Did you say, keep the change?" No. I'm giving you the change. "Oh, I can't change it now". Apparently doesn't know to give me $3. Ok fine. Then she says, "We don't have any cinnamon rolls". Why did you take my $? I'll take a frittata. "We just threw them away". How about a cheese Danish? "Ok". I left with something labeled mango & the croissant had 1 tiny, paper thin piece of ham, a 1/2 tsp of jalapeno & even less cheese. Too bad bcuz the menu looked promising. Won't be back! What a joke!
Had a small cup of black coffee. It was very smooth but still strong. My favorite kind. The other two drinks we got were also not super sweet but very delicious.
I had the lavender honey coffee as recommended by them and I was blown away! It was soooo good! Highly recommend coming here, the atmosphere was very relaxing, music was great, coffee was amazing.
I like to be honest in my reviews, so here it is. The vibes are great, and as a college student, I love studying here. CJ's probably has the nicest staff I have ever met in my entire life. The issue? The drinks. I'll update this review if I ever find a drink I truly enjoy, but out of the 7-8 different drinks I've tried, I've never liked a single one. And this comes from a huge coffee lover! I still go for the atmosphere and staff, but again, the drinks and food are not it.
Stopped in this morning to pick up some yummy breakfast croissants ✅ and tried the lovely lavender latte.?? Always so friendly and delish, I leave feeling special even on a very frosty day.
Been coming here for 2 years now...great coffee, great food, and such a sweet staff! Love love LOVE this place<3
