8 ribs, potato salad, black eyed peas and cornbread casserole were all great!Cassidy was extremely helpful with our order, and ‘Huge A’ Chad provided great info on the meats for a first timer. Thank y’all!I highly recommend giving Cackle & Oink BBQ a try.
Really good Memphis style ribs. I'll be back for a rib plate next time I'm in the area.Brisket was nice and lean (I'm sure you can ask for your preference). Pulled pork was super tender and delicious.The "skillet corn" cornbread was delicious. I would almost get that as both sides on a plate.
Awesome place! We had the brisket and the pulled pork dinner with sweet corn, potato salad, coleslaw and beans and we had zero complaints.

We stopped in there today coming from San Antonio heading back to Arkansas. We made a great choice stopping here. I ask when we walked in what was good and they said everything and they were not wrong! I had smoked turkey dinner and my husband had the ribs and everything was excellent. Sauces were all great as well. And I cannot say enough about how friendly all the employees were. Stop here you will not be disappointed!
The name — clever— and other reviews as well as easy off 82 drew us in. I also like idea of a “family owned” restaurant. Though we are on our way home from a week in east TX, one more BBQ meal sounded good! We thought our meals: pulled pork sandwich/spicy sauce with potato salad and black eyed peas and pulled chicken/Plano sauce with coleslaw and green beans were delicious! We also enjoyed the many signs e.g. “Cookin’ butt and taking names” and pigs reading chicken cookbooks, etc. the staff was friendly and efficient. Would have been a 5 rating if they’d had catfish on the menu. ?

We thoroughly enjoyed our food and the whole experience at Cackle & Oink BBQ! The pulled pork was delicious! Shelcey was welcoming and very helpful. The guys behind were were quick and efficient. We will definitely be stopping here again the next time we are in Sherman!
